Our story began on New Year’s Eve 2021, a night filled with excitement and new beginnings. From the very next day, we began talking daily, forming a bond that grew stronger with every conversation. For almost a year, our relationship blossomed long-distance, until Marcus visited her in Chicago. That visit changed everything—Marcus fell in love not only with her but also with the vibrant energy of the city she called home.

In the summer of 2022, Marcus made the leap and moved to Chicago, where we’ve been building a life together ever since. Our love story came full circle over the 4th of July weekend in 2024, when we got engaged in Telluride, Colorado—a place we both hold close to our hearts.
