If you don't know the whole history you certainly won't learn it in this paragraph but for those of you who missed all of the high school drama here you go......

Back in high school we had a weird thing going. In our sophomore year of high school, we had that typical high school crush nonsense overrunning our days. Truthfully, we almost dated then (or would have at least tried to convince my dad) but God knew we needed more time. Michaela was still praying for Tyler's salvation, and she had plenty of her own things to work through as well. We didn't speak for the majority of covid but trust us when we came back to school in our senior year, things had changed. Not that we were (or are) mature, but we had definitely grown. While we are choosing not to go into the specifics, please know that God's hand in our relationship has been so evident in so many ways. We have been through trials that most high school relationships could never weather and as we head towards marriage, we cannot wait to see what God has in store.
