Our Wedding

James&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;years&nbsp;ago,&nbsp;but&nbsp;dating&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;not&nbsp;even&nbsp;a&nbsp;question,&nbsp;&nbsp;not&nbsp;thought&nbsp;of...Not&nbsp;even&nbsp;a&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;universe...&nbsp;Then&nbsp;just&nbsp;about&nbsp;two&nbsp;years&nbsp;ago&nbsp;or&nbsp;shall&nbsp;I&nbsp;say&nbsp;3&nbsp;nascar&nbsp;seasons&nbsp;ago&nbsp;and&nbsp;2&nbsp;football&nbsp;seasons&nbsp;ago&nbsp;the&nbsp;texts&nbsp;started&nbsp;rolling&nbsp;in&nbsp;&nbsp;on&nbsp;nascar&nbsp;updates&nbsp;football&nbsp;updates,&nbsp;questions&nbsp;about&nbsp;sports&nbsp;standings..The&nbsp;picking&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Dallas&nbsp;Cowboys,&nbsp;&nbsp;me&nbsp;learning&nbsp;more&nbsp;about&nbsp;the&nbsp;Pittsburgh&nbsp;Steelers..Most&nbsp;of&nbsp;all&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;learning&nbsp;about&nbsp;each&nbsp;other..still&nbsp;dating&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;even&nbsp;written&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;stars&nbsp;yet...However,&nbsp;a&nbsp;crush&nbsp;was&nbsp;forming..At&nbsp;Christmas,&nbsp;&nbsp;James&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;surprise&nbsp;Santa&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;Celebrate&nbsp;the&nbsp;holidays...Just&nbsp;to&nbsp;hear&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;smile&nbsp;on&nbsp;his&nbsp;face&nbsp;at&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;happy.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;look&nbsp;at&nbsp;my&nbsp;grandma&nbsp;&nbsp;and&nbsp;say&nbsp;"Grandma&nbsp;he's&nbsp;picking&nbsp;on&nbsp;my&nbsp;Cowboys&nbsp;again"...She'd&nbsp;respond&nbsp;"he'll&nbsp;open&nbsp;his&nbsp;eyes&nbsp;one&nbsp;day"...&nbsp;I&nbsp;remember&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;we&nbsp;lost&nbsp;Grandma&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;texting&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;teams&nbsp;were&nbsp;playing&nbsp;against&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;that&nbsp;night&nbsp;trying&nbsp;to&nbsp;making&nbsp;me&nbsp;smile&nbsp;....&nbsp;he&nbsp;tells&nbsp;me&nbsp;he's&nbsp;sorry&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;loss,&nbsp;and&nbsp;proceeds&nbsp;to&nbsp;tell&nbsp;me&nbsp;my&nbsp;team&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;lead...❤❤..I&nbsp;loved&nbsp;it.. Well&nbsp;football&nbsp;season&nbsp;ended&nbsp;and&nbsp;nascar&nbsp;started&nbsp;up,&nbsp;needless&nbsp;to&nbsp;say&nbsp;we&nbsp;don't&nbsp;root&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;driver&nbsp;either...he&nbsp;would&nbsp;send&nbsp;me&nbsp;such&nbsp;good&nbsp;updates&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;races&nbsp;I&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;miss&nbsp;watching&nbsp;it..&nbsp;&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;honest&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;hate&nbsp;when&nbsp;the&nbsp;seasons&nbsp;ended&nbsp;..that&nbsp;meant&nbsp;we&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;message&nbsp;as&nbsp;much.&nbsp; It&nbsp;just&nbsp;so&nbsp;happened&nbsp;2021&nbsp;the&nbsp;friends&nbsp;of&nbsp;ours&nbsp;were&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;process&nbsp;of&nbsp;moving&nbsp;&nbsp;that&nbsp;Easter&nbsp;so&nbsp;I&nbsp;invited&nbsp;them&nbsp;over&nbsp;along&nbsp;with&nbsp;James&nbsp;being&nbsp;since&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;spend&nbsp;holidays&nbsp;with&nbsp;them&nbsp;and&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;his&nbsp;birthday&nbsp;also.&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;blast&nbsp;even&nbsp;though&nbsp;if&nbsp;things&nbsp;were&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;wrong&nbsp;they&nbsp;went&nbsp;wrong&nbsp;..not&nbsp;to&nbsp;mention&nbsp;he&nbsp;met&nbsp;my&nbsp;family&nbsp;that&nbsp;day&nbsp;also.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;great&nbsp;if&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;any&nbsp;sort&nbsp;of&nbsp;decision&nbsp;about&nbsp;me&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;before&nbsp;I&nbsp;fell&nbsp;totally&nbsp;in&nbsp;love&nbsp;with&nbsp;him..the&nbsp;awesome&nbsp;turnout&nbsp;was&nbsp;we&nbsp;saw&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;every&nbsp;day&nbsp;that&nbsp;week&nbsp;and&nbsp;my&nbsp;feelings&nbsp;were&nbsp;starting&nbsp;to&nbsp;grow..&nbsp;Well&nbsp;April&nbsp;went&nbsp;by&nbsp;fast&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;April&nbsp;&nbsp;26th&nbsp;was&nbsp;that&nbsp;day.&nbsp;He&nbsp;handed&nbsp;me&nbsp;a&nbsp;key&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;car&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;key&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;house&nbsp;&nbsp;and&nbsp;told&nbsp;me&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time&nbsp;he&nbsp;Loved&nbsp;me...2021&nbsp;we&nbsp;have&nbsp;had&nbsp;our&nbsp;ups&nbsp;and&nbsp;downs..and&nbsp;then&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;Eve&nbsp;he&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;and&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;me... From&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;East&nbsp;Street&nbsp;wings&nbsp;to&nbsp;watch&nbsp;nascar&nbsp;and&nbsp;hearing&nbsp;him&nbsp;sing&nbsp;"This&nbsp;is&nbsp;It"&nbsp;I&nbsp;knew&nbsp;this&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;man&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;spend&nbsp;the&nbsp;rest&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;life&nbsp;with..&nbsp;I&nbsp;Love&nbsp;him!&nbsp;No&nbsp;matter&nbsp;our&nbsp;flaws&nbsp;I&nbsp;know&nbsp;he&nbsp;loves&nbsp;me&nbsp;to..&nbsp;Now&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;planning&nbsp;our&nbsp;forever&nbsp;and&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;share&nbsp;that&nbsp;day&nbsp;with&nbsp;our&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;family.... #ThisisIt&nbsp;#September242022&nbsp;#Blessed

This young lady  I have had the pleasure of knowing for a few years not only as a co worker, but also as a friend. When down, she's there to pick you up and make you laugh.  She's a hard worker and when she says she's going to do something,  she's going to make a  way to  do it..She  also shares  her compassion for the NFL  ....Though not the same team as mine , I wont hold it against here...lol.. it totally gives was something to talk about and pick on each other about...

James and Michaela have known this lovely woman for years.. She's always been there through both of our up times and both of our down times..She's a true cheerleader when it came down to the two of us announcing that we were finally a couple.  Then when the announcement of the engagement came out, look out,  because the Thunder was rolling with her excitement...and not a cloud in sight.. We Love this true inspiration .

Sandi Maitland 

James and Michaela have known Bill just as long as we've known his lovely wife Sandi..He's the quiet cheerleader leader of the two of them. He's been there for the both of us ever bit as much as Sandi..From praying over the phone just before an emergency surgery all the way to opening his house for holidays and birthdays..and enjoying a guys day out at a ball game. Also a true inspiration to the both of us.

Bill Maitland 

Thanks to my older son Macon came into my life about 6 years ago.  She's not just a daughter in law, she's a friend, a nurse and a shoulder to cry on.  But becareful you might not want to hear her diagnosis sometimes.  Not only with your health, but also with every day experiences. Though younger than me she's my go to when something is wrong.  Through the good, and the bad she's been there for me and Im so glad she agreed to stand up with me on our special day.

Macon Walz

This bundle of cuteness is one of my grand babies.  Full of spunk and life and loves to toss things on the floor..I just know she’ll have my back by tossing the flowers..

Diane and I have known each other for years.  She could probably tell you stories about me I dont remember.  We lost touch with each other for many years and I truly believe she came back into my life in time for my wedding cause God knew I needed my sister beside me . What better way to have my sister beside me than to have an old neighbor friend who went through life with both my sister and myself  and shares them backyard memories with me.

Shawn is Jame's cousin and when the yard needs work he has his back, especially when work keeps James away til all hours of the evening.  When asked to stand up for James on this special day he didnt hesitate to say yes.

Uncle Greg,  what can we say he's a man with many titles.  He's a father figure an uncle and your critic. From the  start of our relationship  he sat down and wanted to know my intentions with this relationship with a heart to heart father son in law talk.  All in all  what can I saw He Loves his niece as if  she was his own daughter.  Through ups and downs  we've come to realize if he didnt pick on us we'd think he was mad at us.

Shoot for the stars, sheriff Walz wants to be a a police man like his daddy.  So with gladness we decided to let him practice by holding onto the rings. Boy what a start to his Resume.
