What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving around 30 minutes before the ceremony starts.
Where will we be parking?
There is a good sized parking lot at the inn where guests can park. The lot is right next to the inn, round barn and ceremony location. If you have one (or can carpool with someone who has one), we recommend driving a vehicle you feel comfortable driving through mud in if the weather is warmer, as the inn is on a dirt road.
What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?
Semi-Formal / Casual Formal. We understand the weather may be anywhere between sunny and warm or cool and snowy/rainy, so there may be some flexibility in what our guests wear to be comfortable. Button Up shirts, nice dark jeans or slacks, Dresses of any length, pant suits, jackets and shawls are all perfectly acceptable. We want to celebrate the occasion!
Are children invited?
While we love all of the little ones in our life, we kindly ask that the reception be adults-only.
Can I bring a plus one?
All guests are offered one plus-one, please just let us know when you RSVP that you plan to bring someone so we can plan ahead!
Will the wedding ceremony be held outdoors or indoors?
The honest answer to that question is.. We don't know yet! Depending on mother nature, we will make the best decision we can for the location of our ceremony. If we can, we will hold the ceremony outside aside the pond. No fears if there is snow, rain, or just plain not-good-to-be-outside weather, Sleepy Hollow Inn has a beautiful pavilion that connects to the round barn we can easily use if needed.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! We will have Sugar Snap onsite for cash bar services throughout the evening, and we ask that you do not bring outside alcohol on the premises under any circumstances as our venue does not allow it.
We will have finger foods during cocktail hour, dinner to follow and dessert with cake of course!
Do you have a wedding registry?
Yes! Our registry is located here on the website. We are more than happy just to celebrate our day with you, but if you would like to honor us with a gift we will also have a card box at the wedding reception, or you can reach out to us for a good mailing address.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We kindly ask the ceremony be phone-free as we have a wonderful photographer working to catch all of the action. During the reception, however, non-flash photography is welcome and we will have mini-Polaroid cameras set up for guests to use. Please be mindful of our photographer and allow her to capture all of the memories she can while we have her!
Will there be a time gap between the wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, we plan to have a cocktail hour between events! The cash bar will be open and finger foods available before dinner.
