Michaela and Jake first met in 2015 while both working at Coney Island (RIP). They were good friends who would chat at Coney but never really hung out outside of work. Rumor has it Jake had a big crush on Michaela! Michaela went to the University of Evansville and Jake went to the University of Cincinnati. While in college, they lost touch. It wasn’t until a mutual friend of theirs invited them to go to a Thomas Rhett concert last minute on September 23th, 2021. Michaela and Jake reconnected and had a blast at the concert. Thomas Rhett is one of their favorite artists, so listen closely to their first dance song! It was Michaela who made the first move and asked Jake to hang out again. The rest is history! October 31st 2021: Officially began datingDecember 19th&nbsp;2021: Michaela brought home her dog, Kolbie. Jake quickly became his adoptive fatherFebruary 9th&nbsp;2024: They bought their first home Then, on July 19th 2024, Jake asked Michaela to be his wife at the Cincinnati Nature Center. One of their favorite places to go hiking! He surprised her with both of their families and Kolbie while he popped the question. He then set up a surprise engagement party at Madtree, full of their closest friends and family. It was such a special day! Life with the love of your life is such a blessing and an amazing journey. They cannot wait to celebrate their love for each other with all of their friends and family!&nbsp;
