Collin and Michaela met in 2013 at Atherton High School. They would pass each other often in the hallways. One day, a mysterious social media post from Collin prompted Michaela to reach out to him and they haven't stopped talking to each other since.

In the years following, Collin and Michaela spent their time building friendships, bonding with each other's friends, traveling, graduating college, and eating the best foods.

Collin and Michaela had known for a while that this relationship would be a forever thing, but in 2019 they decided to start planning for forever together. While Michaela worked at a jewelry store, Collin and her got to create Michaela's dream engagement ring. At the end of 2019, they got their first apartment together.

In 2020, the pandemic hit and they grew together, sharing both life's highs and lows. They leaned on each other through the losses of loved ones, but also found joy in welcoming two kittens into their little family, Leon and Louise. Then later in 2022, they rescued their third kitten, Maverick.

On Christmas Day in 2022, while Michaela was getting herself ready for the second Christmas event of the day, Collin was getting ready to ask Michaela the question she had known for years that she would say, "yes" to. Before they left their apartment, Collin suggested they take a picture by the Christmas Tree. It was then that Collin got down on one knee and proposed to Michaela, and of course you know she said, "YES!"

Collin and Michaela bought their first home together in 2024. Now, after years of laughter, adventure, and countless memories, these high school sweethearts can't wait to start their next chapter as husband and wife!
