Our Wedding

Our journey began when I took my horse to training in Pennsylvania and he just so happened to work there. A year went by with us not seeing each other and we honestly forgot each other even existed. I transferred to the Pennsylvania High School Rodeo team our senior year. We spent almost all of our time at every rodeo together. Soon after we graduated high school I moved to Texas and he moved to Oklahoma for school. He would drive 4 hours every other weekend to come and see me. Then he graduated and moved right in! We are so blessed that it was so easy and smooth between us since day one. We are best friends and can’t wait to continue creating our lives together!

I have known Maddy for about 6 years now. When I first met her I think she was my least favorite person. Then within a year we had gone to nationals together and I was forced to get to know her. Ever since that trip you couldn’t separate us even if you tried. She was my go to person for any crazy thing I wanted to do and she was always excited to do it right next to me. When I moved to Texas our friendship changed a little bit. We still talk constantly but not being with each everyday was definitely an adjustment. But I know she will always be my side and only a phone call away. Our friendship will last forever and I am honored to have her stand by me on my special day!

Maddy 

Caitlin and I met the first day of 6th grade in our study skills class. That year we added each other on Snapchat and to this day we have a streak of 2,498 days, which we means have talked everyday since. We went through every hurdle together going through middle school and high school. We used to ride our bikes together all of town and go on walks. And of course would always raid her pantry of every snack available every time I was over. Our senior year we would always bring each other breakfast and through out the day would find each other and see what kind of snacks we had in our bags. Our friendship was defiantly built off of food. She is probably one of my goofiest friends but I wouldn’t have it any other way. She was screaming with excitement when I got engaged and I can’t wait to have her be in my wedding!

Caitlyn

Kenzie and I met a few months after I moved to Texas at work. We always worked opposite shifts so we didn’t see each other much but talked constantly. We eventually got different jobs and were able to see each other more. We would always go to each other’s houses and ride our horses together. We also do “Sunday Family Dinner” almost every week, and boy can those get interesting sometimes especially if we are the ones cooking. Every conversation we have with each other has a wide range of topics  and usually ends with us laughing, shaking our heads, and asking each other how we got here… She is going to be the one to keep my nerves down and makes sure I’m laughing on the big day and I couldn’t imagine it without her there!

Kenzie

Johanna and I met 2 weeks after I moved to Texas. My life was a little rocky when I first came down and she helped me out in so many ways. First and for most she gave me my second biggest blessing in life… Kip♥️ She was always my first text or call if I was lonely or needed help with anything and was my first friend when I moved and welcomed me with open arms. She would always come hangout and we would watch movies together with kip and her two wiener dogs. The best part of our friendship is our wiener dog obsession. Since then she has moved to Arizona to expand her business in the horse industry and is kicking butt doing it. Even though we don’t talk as much as we used to every time we do we pick back up right where we left off. She is always so excited and supporting of jake and I and its blessing to have our first true friend down here standing up there with us.

Johanna 

Brady has pretty much known me my whole life… Brady is my brother. He is 5 years older than me. Although we weren’t always interested in the same things we’ve always respected each other for the paths that we have chosen. I’m thankful for all the memories we cherish from our childhood and I’m excited to share my big day with my big brother.

Colton and I have been the best of friends since Kindergarden.  Through all the memories from then till now we’ve been close. With me moving across the country things haven’t been the same, but I know that he is always a phone call away and we will forever pick up where we left off

Cale, Aka Uncle Cale to all of our dogs. Cale and I met when he moved down to Texas from Missouri. Cale is a horseshoer and we both anpprenticed under the same guy. You can usually find Cale on my couch on the weekends. Sleeping with Ottis. 
He’s been one of my best friends and we share a lot of memories together. I cherish our friendship and can’t wait to have him with me on my big day.

Will there be alcohol? 

Yes! We will have an open bar with multiple options of wine, beer, and liquor that will be open for 4 hours during our reception!

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Our ceremony will be outside and our reception will be inside and climate controlled. So make sure you keep an eye on the weather since our ceremony is outside!! October weather is Texas is usually not to hot or cold and beautiful!

What should I wear?

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. Even though the wedding ceremony is outside the grass is turf so heals wont be a problem for the ladies if they chose to wear them! Also we are in Texas and cowboy country so the guys are more then welcome to were nice jeans, button down, and cowboy hats if they choose. We do ask that none of the ladies wear white. Other then that we want everyone to be comfortable and able to have a good time!

Can I Bring a Guest/Date? 

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will appear on your invitation. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Are Kids Allowed?

Invitations will be Specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However we encourage you to use this evening as a “night out” for yourself!
