Our Wedding

<p>We&nbsp;first&nbsp;met&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;(Michala)&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;St.&nbsp;Louis&nbsp;Christian&nbsp;College&nbsp;in&nbsp;January&nbsp;2018.&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;definitely&nbsp;had&nbsp;interest&nbsp;right&nbsp;away&nbsp;but&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;more&nbsp;cautious.&nbsp;We&nbsp;slowly&nbsp;became&nbsp;friends&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;course&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;first&nbsp;semester.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Olney,&nbsp;IL&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;summer&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;youth&nbsp;ministry&nbsp;internship,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;spent&nbsp;the&nbsp;summer&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;camp&nbsp;team&nbsp;for&nbsp;SLCC.&nbsp;But&nbsp;we&nbsp;talked&nbsp;often&nbsp;and&nbsp;got&nbsp;to&nbsp;know&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;even&nbsp;more.&nbsp;Both&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;knew&nbsp;that&nbsp;if&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;into&nbsp;any&nbsp;relationship,&nbsp;it&nbsp;would&nbsp;be&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;person&nbsp;we&nbsp;want&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry.&nbsp;So&nbsp;we&nbsp;kept&nbsp;on&nbsp;talking&nbsp;and&nbsp;by&nbsp;September&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;semester,&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;dating.&nbsp;It&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;take&nbsp;either&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;long&nbsp;to&nbsp;figure&nbsp;out&nbsp;that&nbsp;God&nbsp;had&nbsp;answered&nbsp;our&nbsp;prayers&nbsp;for&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;After&nbsp;4&nbsp;months&nbsp;of&nbsp;dating,&nbsp;we&nbsp;knew&nbsp;that&nbsp;God&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;us&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;step:&nbsp;engagement.&nbsp;We&nbsp;got&nbsp;engaged&nbsp;on&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;Day&nbsp;2019.&nbsp;After&nbsp;our&nbsp;big&nbsp;day,&nbsp;we&nbsp;plan&nbsp;on&nbsp;sticking&nbsp;around&nbsp;SLCC&nbsp;until&nbsp;I&nbsp;graduate.&nbsp;<br><br></p>

Details

I&nbsp;met&nbsp;JenJe&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;5th&nbsp;grade;&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;homeschool&nbsp;group&nbsp;together.&nbsp;We've&nbsp;grown&nbsp;up&nbsp;together,&nbsp;and&nbsp;she&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;a&nbsp;very&nbsp;special&nbsp;friend&nbsp;to&nbsp;me&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;time.&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;imagine&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;else&nbsp;as&nbsp;my&nbsp;maid&nbsp;of&nbsp;honor!&nbsp;

JenJe Stouder 

Malachi&nbsp;met&nbsp;Jaden&nbsp;his&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year&nbsp;at&nbsp;SLCC.&nbsp;They&nbsp;bonded&nbsp;over&nbsp;their&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;Xbox,&nbsp;and&nbsp;have&nbsp;been&nbsp;best&nbsp;buds&nbsp;ever&nbsp;since.&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;definitely&nbsp;could&nbsp;not&nbsp;imagine&nbsp;getting&nbsp;married&nbsp;without&nbsp;his&nbsp;best&nbsp;bud!&nbsp;

Jaden McCarty

Malachi&nbsp;also&nbsp;met&nbsp;Justin&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;at&nbsp;SLCC.&nbsp;They&nbsp;hit&nbsp;it&nbsp;off&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;since&nbsp;they&nbsp;are&nbsp;basically&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;person.&nbsp;Justin&nbsp;is&nbsp;married&nbsp;to&nbsp;Kelsey,&nbsp;who&nbsp;is&nbsp;also&nbsp;a&nbsp;bridesmaid,&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;super&nbsp;cute&nbsp;baby&nbsp;named&nbsp;Maddy.&nbsp;

Justin Ford 

I&nbsp;have&nbsp;known&nbsp;Brittan&nbsp;since&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;little&nbsp;girls.&nbsp;She&nbsp;has&nbsp;always&nbsp;been&nbsp;an&nbsp;important&nbsp;person&nbsp;to&nbsp;me,&nbsp;and&nbsp;has&nbsp;supported&nbsp;me&nbsp;at&nbsp;every&nbsp;key&nbsp;event&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;life&nbsp;thus&nbsp;far&nbsp;so&nbsp;I&nbsp;could&nbsp;not&nbsp;get&nbsp;married&nbsp;without&nbsp;her!&nbsp;

Brittan Botzum

I&nbsp;grew&nbsp;up&nbsp;with&nbsp;Kylie.&nbsp;Every&nbsp;short&nbsp;girl&nbsp;needs&nbsp;a&nbsp;tall&nbsp;friend,&nbsp;and&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;that&nbsp;for&nbsp;me!&nbsp;She&nbsp;is&nbsp;so&nbsp;special,&nbsp;so&nbsp;of&nbsp;course&nbsp;I&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;day.&nbsp;

Kylie Kennedy 

Elijah&nbsp;is&nbsp;Malachi's&nbsp;2nd&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;brother,&nbsp;so&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;has&nbsp;known&nbsp;him&nbsp;since&nbsp;birth.&nbsp;Although&nbsp;they&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;always&nbsp;get&nbsp;along&nbsp;as&nbsp;children,&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;always&nbsp;knew&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;could&nbsp;count&nbsp;on&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;whenever&nbsp;he&nbsp;needed&nbsp;him.&nbsp;Now&nbsp;as&nbsp;adults,&nbsp;they&nbsp;are&nbsp;very&nbsp;close,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;has&nbsp;become&nbsp;a&nbsp;strong&nbsp;example&nbsp;of&nbsp;how&nbsp;to&nbsp;live&nbsp;a&nbsp;godly&nbsp;life.&nbsp;

Elijah Keen

I&nbsp;can't&nbsp;remember&nbsp;a&nbsp;specific&nbsp;time&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;Lauren,&nbsp;but&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;glad&nbsp;I&nbsp;did!&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;so&nbsp;blessed&nbsp;by&nbsp;her&nbsp;friendship.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;supportive&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;desire&nbsp;to&nbsp;wait&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;man&nbsp;God&nbsp;had&nbsp;picked&nbsp;for&nbsp;me,&nbsp;so&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;sure&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;day!&nbsp;

Lauren Harper

Daniel&nbsp;is&nbsp;Malachi's&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;brother.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;(and&nbsp;is)&nbsp;always&nbsp;willing&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;in&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;fun&nbsp;stuff&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;enjoys,&nbsp;whether&nbsp;it's&nbsp;sports&nbsp;or&nbsp;video&nbsp;games&nbsp;or&nbsp;just&nbsp;watching&nbsp;Netflix.&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;has&nbsp;always&nbsp;looked&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;Daniel,&nbsp;and&nbsp;will&nbsp;continue&nbsp;to&nbsp;do&nbsp;so.&nbsp;

Daniel Keen

Cheyenne&nbsp;is&nbsp;definitely&nbsp;the&nbsp;friend&nbsp;I&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;expect.&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;her&nbsp;my&nbsp;2nd&nbsp;semester&nbsp;at&nbsp;SLCC&nbsp;after&nbsp;praying&nbsp;for&nbsp;close&nbsp;female&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;She&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;crazy&nbsp;to&nbsp;my&nbsp;calm,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;super&nbsp;happy&nbsp;for&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;day!&nbsp;

Cheyenne Tucker 

Zach&nbsp;is&nbsp;Michala's&nbsp;younger&nbsp;brother.&nbsp;Although&nbsp;they&nbsp;don't&nbsp;know&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;super&nbsp;well&nbsp;yet&nbsp;because&nbsp;of&nbsp;distance,&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;is&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;finally&nbsp;be&nbsp;the&nbsp;older&nbsp;sibling.&nbsp;And&nbsp;Zach&nbsp;is&nbsp;happy&nbsp;to&nbsp;finally&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;brother.&nbsp;

Zach Cowley 

Malachi&nbsp;met&nbsp;Jacob&nbsp;through&nbsp;Jaden&nbsp;while&nbsp;playing&nbsp;Minecraft.&nbsp;Jaden&nbsp;left&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;class,&nbsp;but&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jacob&nbsp;kept&nbsp;on&nbsp;playing&nbsp;and&nbsp;got&nbsp;to&nbsp;know&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;Despite&nbsp;Jacob&nbsp;living&nbsp;in&nbsp;Indiana&nbsp;and&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;living&nbsp;in&nbsp;St.Louis,&nbsp;they&nbsp;are&nbsp;still&nbsp;close&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;playing&nbsp;Xbox&nbsp;together.&nbsp;

Jacob Long 

Rebekah&nbsp;is&nbsp;Malachi's&nbsp;sister,&nbsp;who&nbsp;got&nbsp;married&nbsp;in&nbsp;June.&nbsp;I&nbsp;have&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;finally&nbsp;having&nbsp;a&nbsp;sister&nbsp;and&nbsp;getting&nbsp;to&nbsp;talk&nbsp;about&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;stuff&nbsp;with&nbsp;her.&nbsp;

Rebekah Davis 

Kelsey&nbsp;was&nbsp;my&nbsp;admissions&nbsp;counselor&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;getting&nbsp;ready&nbsp;to&nbsp;come&nbsp;to&nbsp;SLCC.&nbsp;I&nbsp;definitely&nbsp;think&nbsp;without&nbsp;seeing&nbsp;Kelsey's&nbsp;genuine&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;people&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jesus&nbsp;and&nbsp;knowing&nbsp;that&nbsp;SLCC&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;part&nbsp;in&nbsp;developing&nbsp;those&nbsp;qualities&nbsp;in&nbsp;her,&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;not&nbsp;have&nbsp;decided&nbsp;on&nbsp;coming&nbsp;to&nbsp;SLCC.&nbsp;Kelsey&nbsp;is&nbsp;also&nbsp;wife&nbsp;to&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;Malachi's&nbsp;best&nbsp;buds,&nbsp;Justin,&nbsp;who&nbsp;is&nbsp;also&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;party.&nbsp;

Kelsey Ford 

Malachi&nbsp;and&nbsp;Philip&nbsp;came&nbsp;to&nbsp;SLCC&nbsp;as&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;together.&nbsp;Although&nbsp;he's&nbsp;typically&nbsp;a&nbsp;pretty&nbsp;quiet&nbsp;guy,&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;willing&nbsp;to&nbsp;put&nbsp;up&nbsp;with&nbsp;Malachi's&nbsp;shenanigans,&nbsp;so&nbsp;they've&nbsp;been&nbsp;friends&nbsp;ever&nbsp;since!&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;and&nbsp;Phillip&nbsp;also&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;bonding&nbsp;over&nbsp;Xbox.&nbsp;

Phillip Jones 

Malachi&nbsp;met&nbsp;Taeven&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;transferred&nbsp;from&nbsp;Ozark&nbsp;during&nbsp;Malachi's&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year.&nbsp;They&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;playing&nbsp;sports&nbsp;together,&nbsp;specifically&nbsp;soccer,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Rocket&nbsp;League&nbsp;on&nbsp;Xbox&nbsp;as&nbsp;well.&nbsp;

Taevan Schad

Denae&nbsp;(sister&nbsp;to&nbsp;Taevan&nbsp;and&nbsp;Keynan)&nbsp;is&nbsp;such&nbsp;a&nbsp;wise&nbsp;and&nbsp;gentle&nbsp;soul.&nbsp;She&nbsp;brings&nbsp;so&nbsp;much&nbsp;joy&nbsp;to&nbsp;wherever&nbsp;she&nbsp;is&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;blessed&nbsp;to&nbsp;have&nbsp;her&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;friend&nbsp;and&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;wedding!&nbsp;

Denae Schad 

Katie&nbsp;(wife&nbsp;to&nbsp;Taevan)&nbsp;was&nbsp;my&nbsp;RA&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;semester&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year&nbsp;at&nbsp;SLCC.&nbsp;She&nbsp;has&nbsp;always&nbsp;been&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;listener&nbsp;and&nbsp;is&nbsp;super&nbsp;wise.&nbsp;She&nbsp;makes&nbsp;me&nbsp;want&nbsp;to&nbsp;love&nbsp;Jesus&nbsp;more.&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;blessed&nbsp;by&nbsp;her&nbsp;influence&nbsp;on&nbsp;my&nbsp;life!&nbsp;She&nbsp;and&nbsp;Taeven&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;baby.&nbsp;

Malachi&nbsp;and&nbsp;Keynan&nbsp;(brother&nbsp;to&nbsp;Taeven)&nbsp;came&nbsp;to&nbsp;SLCC&nbsp;as&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;together.&nbsp;They&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;really&nbsp;start&nbsp;hanging&nbsp;out&nbsp;until&nbsp;a&nbsp;year&nbsp;later&nbsp;since&nbsp;Keynan&nbsp;is&nbsp;kind&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;quite&nbsp;guy.&nbsp;Once&nbsp;they&nbsp;discovered&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;love&nbsp;video&nbsp;games,&nbsp;they&nbsp;became&nbsp;good&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;

Keynan Schad

Malachi&nbsp;met&nbsp;KB&nbsp;before&nbsp;he&nbsp;came&nbsp;to&nbsp;college;&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;Elijah's&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;But&nbsp;they&nbsp;became&nbsp;friends&nbsp;themselves&nbsp;when&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;SLCC&nbsp;where&nbsp;KB&nbsp;and&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;were&nbsp;already&nbsp;students.&nbsp;KB&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;kind&nbsp;of&nbsp;friend&nbsp;that&nbsp;will&nbsp;have&nbsp;your&nbsp;back&nbsp;whenever&nbsp;you&nbsp;need&nbsp;him.&nbsp;

KB Hawks

Sarah&nbsp;was&nbsp;also&nbsp;my&nbsp;RA.&nbsp;She&nbsp;is&nbsp;always&nbsp;there&nbsp;if&nbsp;I&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;vent&nbsp;or&nbsp;am&nbsp;needing&nbsp;advice.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;probably&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;excited&nbsp;person&nbsp;when&nbsp;Malachi&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;got&nbsp;together,&nbsp;and&nbsp;has&nbsp;continued&nbsp;to&nbsp;support&nbsp;us&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;relationship.&nbsp;Sarah&nbsp;is&nbsp;married&nbsp;to&nbsp;Grant,&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;do&nbsp;ministry&nbsp;in&nbsp;Troy,&nbsp;MO.&nbsp;
