I met Michalyn in the Highlands Palm Harbor Congregation after moving into the area to live with my Grandmother. We became fast friends while I harbored a crush I thought was one sided. Not shy to telling my family and friends about this "super pretty pioneer sister" that I was interested in but too scared to make a move on. Days, Weeks, and Months going by turned into a Year and we had both been focusing on ourselves and written each other off as friends until a day came where we decided to hangout within our friend group and go roller skating. Spending the whole time flirting and play fighting we both knew something was up but I sure wasn't gonna be the one to put myself out there. After Skating we made plans to go out to eat with our good friend and her little sister, though im not sure you could count it as a group dinner since Michalyn and I sat next to each other and spent the whole night turned 90 degrees in our booth, trying to make each other laugh, and finding excuses in our storytelling to be close to one another. (Michalyn chose to mime out a story that "required" me to put my arm around her...subtle lol ). After the night was over and I walked the girls back to their cars I knew if I didn't ask now I wouldn't have the chance again so I pulled Michalyn aside and asked to speak with her privately. To this day one of my favorite memories is watching her face get red as she fumbled over her words at my accusation.."You're flirting with me, what's that about?" After a lengthy and embarrassingly giddy conversation in that Whisky Wings parking lot we ended up texting till the wee hours in the morning that night and every night for the next two weeks. From there it took a month to ask her to be my Girlfriend and 9 Months to ask her to be my Wife, and Ive had a blast every step of the way.

Anthony and I met when he moved into the Highlands, Palm Harbor Congregation a few years ago. I remember the first night we truly got to talk I told him I liked his "style" which was my awkward way of starting a conversation, because I thought he was cute. We became friends and I quickly learned that I liked his personality and wanted to be better friends. Between our busy and budding lives, we focused on ourselves, and a period of time passed. One night I get a text that a sister is having a roller skating night, and all our friends would be there. We saw each other and finally got to catch up, talking about our most recent convention that we spent some time together at and other life events. I honestly spent most of the night not trying to fall on my face in front of this cute boy. Although typically I'm the one to be flustered easily, I definitely was the first to start flirting a little and joking around. A good friend of mine invited Anthony and I to eat dinner with her and her little sister. I still cannot tell you to this day what they talked about, because almost all my attention was focused on Anthony... sorry girls lol. The night ended, and Anthony offered to walk all of us out. That's when he pulled me aside and asked "So, you're flirting with me. What's that about?" I actually felt my stomach drop. I was caught. I fessed up but it took me like seven tries to get the words out, which he absolutely laughed at (in a kind way, but still!). After that we talked every day, non-stop, for weeks. The more we talked, the more I knew I wanted to be his best friend. We hung out at any given opportunity. After about a month of knowing where this was going, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have spent the rest of our relationship finding any moment we could to be with each other or at least talk. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and continue to grow our story.
