Room Blocks

Room blocks will be at the Holiday Valley Inn and the Tamarack Club next door. Both are part of the resort. Note that if you are on the second floor of the Holiday Valley Inn, there is no elevator. The Tamarack has a spa and a heated pool with two whirlpools which should all be open during the wedding weekend. Let them know you are booking with the Farquharson/ Dickerson wedding on Nov. 15, 2025. Shuttles will be provided to and from the Yodeler lodge from the Holiday Valley Inn and the Tamarack Club.

This pricing is for Standard Rooms.If you want an upgraded room at the Inn, ask when you book.

The Inn at Holiday Valley

This hotel is across the way from the Holiday Valley Inn and has more options if you are traveling as a family. The starting rate is $201 plus tax, but there are also other configurations. ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:1 bedroom suite (living room with fold out couch, fireplace, balcony, and kitchen): $2572 bedroom suite (the same as above with one standard room connected): $398 Please note: suites may go faster than the standard rooms and could require us to rework the room blocks. You may need to coordinate with Michele or Kelly Farquharson (Mother of the Bride) to lock these in.

For those looking to explore more of downtown Ellicottville or want to be a bit more remote and enjoy the privacy of a true mountain getaway - we have great recommendations. While we do not have room blocks or discounts at these locations they are all relatively close by!

This hotel is located in downtown Ellicottville and is within walking distance to all of the local shops and restaurants. It is a 6 minute drive to the Yodeler Lodge. As of mid-August the starting rate for Friday - Sunday is $229 per night.

There are some beautiful options on AirBnb depending on what you are looking for - some are located in downtown Ellicottville, others 1-2 miles outside of the city center. If you are unable to join us at the Holiday Valley Resort I recommend enjoying a slice of local Ellicottville!

Holiday Valley is located 1 hour from Buffalo Airport (~56 miles). This is the recommended airport for those flying in!

Buffalo Niagara International Airport

For those flying into Buffalo Airport we recommend renting a car. However, you can use the Buffalo Airport Shuttle to book transportation to the Holiday Valley Resort.

Avis Car Rental

Holiday Valley is located 2 hours from the Rochester Airport (~115 miles). We do not recommend flying in/out of Rochester unless this is your only direct route.

About 20 minutes outside of Ellicottville is one of America's largest sculpture parks. The park features over 250 large scale sculptures dispersed through miles of hiking trails.

Things to do in Buffalo

If you are visiting Buffalo before or after the wedding this is a gorgeous museum with a variety of masterpieces. Located next to Delaware Park and the Terrace - you will have a lovely visit.

If you want to go see the Falls there are a couple of options. If you want to stay on the U.S. side you can go to the Niagra Falls State Park. If you are looking for the iconic panoramic view of the Falls (or that selfie) you will want to go to the Canadian side, which will be a bit of a hike. We recommend that you may want to extend your stay and either come early on Friday and visit the falls before driving out to Ellicottville, or stay until Monday and use your day on Sunday to go visit!
