It was orientation day for graduate school where Michele and Anthony would gather with the rest of their cohort in front of the administrative office of the David Rittenhouse Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. Little did they know, that they wouldn't just be classmates, but best friends for life.

Michele and Anthony started out as friends, but after a couple of years they realized they are a great match for each other.

The years brought on many changes. They supported each other during both of their PhDs, Michele's medical physics residency, and Anthony's transition into industry. The pandemic brought on more challenges, but they developed a deeper love for each other as well as a new love (some say "addiction") of houseplants and board games.

Michele and Anthony have been lucky enough to travel the world together (and hope to keep doing so!) including South Korea to meet all of Michele's extended family and many trips to Long Island to see Anthony's. They love seeing musicals and plays in both New York and Philadelphia as much as they can. Most days are spent at home, but as long as they are together, they are happy.
