Our Wedding

Michelle and Nathaniel met in their senior year while attending Binghamton University. The beginning of their story seems cut straight from of one of the classic romance novels of old; they were drunk, at a bar. Ok, maybe not so romantic. The bar is a favorite of Binghamton students for its loud music, “shot wheel”, and beer towers. It’s the one and only, Tom and Marty’s, and as far from “classy” as a bar can be. Both Michelle and Nathaniel had been there countless times, but that night was different. Somewhere between the spilled drinks, screaming students, and over-served patrons, Nathaniel spotted Michelle across the room and told his friend, “That’s who I want to talk to”. Nathaniel has never been one to approach random girls at bars, but something drew him to Michelle. The two spent the rest of the night laughing and dancing.&nbsp; When the time came for them to part ways, Nathaniel told Michelle that he had just lost his phone the day before. Michelle didn’t believe him, but the next day, to her surprise, she received a Facebook message from Nathaniel. While Michelle might not admit it, her friends insist she screamed in excitement. The two quickly became a couple and remained so for the remainder of their time at Binghamton. After graduating, Michelle decided to continue her education and get a doctorate in Physical Therapy at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. Nathaniel worked at an environmental firm in upstate New York for a while, until he took a transfer to New York City to be closer to Michelle. Michelle spent half her time at home in Ossining, and the rest at Nathaniel’s Brooklyn apartment.&nbsp; In early 2020, the two decided to make the move to Austin, TX. After three days of driving in a luxurious U-Haul truck, filled to the brim with all their belongings, they arrived. The couple has made a life for themselves in Austin. They spend their time exploring the city’s every changing food scene and enjoying the great outdoors with their adopted Great Pyrenees mix, Nori.&nbsp;

Booking a Flight

The best airport to fly in/out of is Cancún International Airport (CUN). Please book as soon as possible and don't forget your passport!

Booking Your Hotel Stay

Everyone attending the wedding must book at least 3 nights at The El Dorado Royale properties. This is an all inclusive resort! It is made up of three separate hotel properties: El Dorado Royale, El Dorado Casitas Royale, &amp; Generations Riviera Maya Resort. To book your hotel stay, please go through our travel agent's website to secure the room block rate. Your room must be booked by June 15, 2025. The website has more information on the different hotel properties and room options. Transportion To/From The Hotel

There will be complimentary round trip shuttle service from the airport to the resort. You will have to book this when you book your stay through our travel agent. Once your flight and room is booked, our travel agent will require your flight information in order to have a shuttle waiting for you when you arrive!
