It was Michelle’s Grandpa’s 80th birthday party and they had gone out for a couple of drinks after. While having drinks Kate was texting Michelle that “she needed a picture with someone special to her that represents Sioux Falls”. She had mentioned going to the Arch because the Falls is a pretty “common” place where people will be going. Michelle was having fun, but Robert had stopped drinking (Michelle thought he was mad). We then ended up going to get Kate and on our way to another bar we stopped at the Arch (Michelle was thinking it was to dark and will end up redoing this later) as we walk to the middle of the Arch Michelle was like “there is no way your gonna get the whole arch in the picture” at this point now Michelle is too excited for the picture and focused on getting Kate a good picture for her school project. After Michelle finally finds the “right angle” Robert asked Michelle if she would take a picture with him. They got ready for the “picture” and then Robert got down on one knee and said “Luke Combs said it best your first name and my last name sound better together, will you be my forever?” When he got down on one knee Michelle thought he was joking because Robert has always “pretended” to purpose. Michelle then of course said “YES!”
