When do I need to RSVP by?
We request that all guests confirm their attendance or absence by November 30, 2023 but ideally, as soon as possible.
Will there be food?
Yes, there will be a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, followed by a sit-down plated dinner.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
There is an option for a vegetarian meal when you RSVP. If you have other dietary restrictions we should be mindful of, please contact Michelle at 661-313-7113.
Will there be alcohol?
Duh. Starting with cocktail hour, there will be an open bar until about 30 minutes prior to the event's end.
What should I wear?
We request that all guests wear formal attire to celebrate our big day!
Will there be sand?
No! The ceremony will be outdoors on a waterfront lawn and the reception will have stone flooring. We recommend that ladies avoid stilettos or fine point heels that could make it difficult to walk or stand on the grass.
Where should I stay?
We will be staying the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables. If you'd like to join us, use the link on the "accommodations," tab for a discounted rate. Because we have guests traveling from all over the world (we are very well connected), we understand that each guest will have their own needs. If you would like to enjoy the beautiful Miami waters, we recommend lodging in South Beach. If you would like to be slightly out of the chaos, but still close to attractions, we recommend lodging in Coral Gables. Another option, if you are looking to stay in a bustling area with bars, restaurants, and attractions nearby, is Brickell.
Miami Beach is a 45 minute drive to the venue and Coral Gables is a 25 minute drive to the venue. Brickell is about 30 minutes to the venue.
Will there be transportation to the venue?
Because all of our guests will be staying at different locations, there is no scheduled transportation to the venue. We recommend renting a vehicle if you do not plan to take advantage of the open bar. If you plan to enjoy any alcohol at the wedding, we request that guests utilize a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft.
Will there be parking?
Parking will be free and located both at the venue's parking lot and around the lot itself.
What will the weather be like?
We have chosen February because it will be the best possible chance at a comfortable, beautiful day. Generally, February in Miami will be warm, with an average temperature of around 77°F/25°C. Since there is not a lot of humidity, it should feel comfortable. We will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates.
What should I do if I cannot make it?
You will be missed! If you cannot attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly. Please send your obligatory gift asap . . . just kidding!
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Yes! Please #PrevalAfterAll for all social media posts.
