Our favorite way to experience Boston is by foot and there are a couple of routes that we've found lead you to see some of the best that Boston has to offer.

The first path you can follow is the freedom trail. The freedom trail highlights all of the Boston historical sites from the American Revolution while taking you around the city.

The second walk we recommend is following the Greenway from South Station to The North End (the Italian area of Boston). The Greenway is a city park that has artisan markets, brewery, food trucks, and even a New England wildlife carousel in it.

If you're looking to shop we definitely suggest a stroll on Newbury Street. Newbury Street is home to the most expensive designers and luxury brands and it's also a great place to people watch. Enjoying a stroll on Newbury Street and ending at the Boston Public Gardens- which are beautiful- should make for a perfect afternoon.

Breakfast

Cafe Luna-(Cambridge) Their lemon ricotta pancakes and lobster benedicts make it our favorite brunch spot

Lincoln- Get the breakfast pizza, you won't regret it!

Tatte- Michelle frequents this coffee shop and once you've had any of their pastries or Israeli inspired dishes you'll see why.

Lunch or Dinner

Toro- The best tapas in the city- it's as if you're in Spain!

Oleana (Cambridge)- Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean Food. Their dishes are extremely innovative and always delicious.

Mare- Our favorite spot for seafood and the first restaurant Evan and Michelle had dinner together at when they visited Boston.

Trattoria II Panino- You can't find bad Italian food in the North End, but this is where we go most often for their homemade pastas and raviolis.

Drinks

Lamplighter Brewery- even our pup Lyla loves this brewery. It's quintessentially Cambridge and they are constantly updating and adding to their beer list so there's always something new to try.

Nightshift Brewery- visit their Owl's Nest location on the Esplanade or their Lovejoy Wharf location- either way you can enjoy your drink right along the water

Citrus & Salt- if you're looking for a great cocktail, particularly a margarita this place will do the trick.
