We both swiped right!

We are a Tinder success story. No, Seriously! It was early in December of 2020. COVID was in full swing. Life, for both of us was pretty monotonous. One afternoon after coming home from work I "swiped right" on a sexy, retired military man. He "swiped right" soon thereafter. We both immediately sent a message about gearing up for an impending snow storm that happened to get delivered at exactly the same time. That message lead to hours of phone conversations (anyone who knows how Mike loves to talk shouldn't be surprised).

A week later I agreed to a face to face meet, a casual dinner at his house on a Friday night after work (if you know me, I don't go out after work, but I did for him!). I lied to both my kids and told them I was going Christmas shopping. I gave one of my best friends ALL of his personal information, including a picture of his license plate. Red wine, candles, cheeseburgers and fries; followed by a first, second, and many more kisses...I finally arrived home at 3 am. I remember texting my sister a week later telling her I thought I was in trouble with this one.

I suppose it seems like the feeling is mutual. My crazy matches his crazy. We laugh, we dance, we travel, we smile, and we love. We can't wait to share our special day with everyone!
