I'm not renting a car. How do I get to the venue?
The best options are to either rent a car and drive or take mass transit to a neighboring town.
Driving:
The Killashee and Osprey Hotels are a 30 minute drive from Dublin. They are also a 25 minute drive from our wedding venue.
Train:
Most of you are staying at the Killashee Hotel or Osprey Hotel on Sunday and/or Monday night. If you are coming from Dublin, take the train from Heuston Station to Naas/Sallins. This is just 10 minutes from the Osprey and Killashee and we can help arrange a ride for you. Here is a handy link for you to see the train schedule between the two. You can alter this origin if you're coming from a different destination:

All of that said, we do recommend renting a car if you want to travel around the country!
On the day of the wedding, we will run shuttles to the surrounding lodging options that we know people are staying at, including the Killashee Hotel & Osprey Hotel.
What's the best way to travel around Ireland?
To really see Ireland, we recommend you rent a car. It makes the small country accessible to you. But remember you drive on the other side of the road there!
That said, the country is also very accessible by train and by bus! There are a lot of tour buses that leave from Dublin that can take you to different points around the country.
What's the deal with lodging?
The Rathsallagh House only has 39 rooms, many of which have been allocated to the bridal party and immediate family.
Should you not want to stay at Rathsallagh, or not get into one of the remaining rooms, no sweat! There are a handful of other options in the area, most of which are lower cost. We've added those to the Travel tab. We will be running shuttles to the Killashee Hotel and Osprey Hotel. Both of these hotels have special wedding rates. To get rooms within the wedding block be sure to mention Duffy on the phone.
Where are you staying the night before the wedding?
We are staying at the Killashee Hotel - it is a stunning venue 20 minutes from the wedding venue. We will be doing our rehearsal dinner here and would love for you to join us for a drink in the evening if you're staying at or near Killashee. There is a beautiful spa and golf course on-site and the rooms and grounds are gorgeous. The Osprey Hotel is also just a few minutes down the road and another hotel that we have a wedding room block at. Both are in or on the outskirts of the small town of Naas.
So, I like golf...
Sweet, then you will like Ireland! Corey will likely play 9 holes the morning of the wedding, on-site at our venue. The following day many of the guys will go out for 9 or 18 holes as well at the Rathsallagh House (same grounds as the wedding venue)! You can rent clubs at the Golf Club at Rathsallagh House.
Additionally the Killashee Hotel, where most of you will be staying, has an amazing golf course and there are a number of other 4 star golf courses in the area as well.
What is the plan the day after the wedding?
We appreciate everyone traveling all the way to gorgeous Wicklow (bummer of a venue, right?! ;) ) and want to be able to spend real time with you all. We have booked out the venue for the day after the wedding as well! On Tuesday we'll have a more casual environment to hang out, play lawn games, golf, enjoy the 200 acres, see the Wicklow Mountains and then at 5pm have hired on a full BBQ for you all to enjoy! We'll cover the food, you're on your own for drinks. :)
Are we going to go out together before the wedding?
Uhm...yes! We would love to bar hop around Dublin City on Saturday with anyone who is in town! Let's have a fun time drinking pints and dancing to Irish tunes through Temple Bar area together.
When do you need to know if we are attending?
We are hoping to have a final headcount by 2 months out. An RSVP on this website helps us get a general understanding of what our numbers will be, but it is by no means a locked and loaded RSVP. If anything changes in your schedule we totally understand and are really looking to have firm numbers by 8 weeks out.
What do the room rates include?
In Ireland, big Irish breakfasts are the thing. You can expect in all of these lodging options to have a good and big breakfast in the morning and a really comfortable night's stay. We've spoken with contacts and almost all of our recommended lodging options and they are all great!
