It all started on January 18th, 2025 in New York City. From the moment they met, they were swept up in a whirlwind — the kind that doesn't slow down because it doesn't need to.Everything just clicked.They had found their soulmate, their match, and their best friend all in one person.They couldn't bear to be apart — and they weren't. Since the day they met, they've spent only seven days apart.By March, Nick had moved to New Jersey, and by August, they made the leap together to Chicago.Along the way, they've traveled the world and discovered just how much they have in common — a connection and friendship beyond anything either of them ever imagined!Their relationship blossomed quickly and effortlessly, and even meeting each other's families felt like destiny. Family means everything to both of them, and one of the greatest gifts of their love story has been gaining a second family.The bond they each share with the other's family has made this journey even more special than they could have imagined.On June 4th, Nick proposed, and they still can't believe this is real.Even their doodles, Dom and Ace, seem to smile a little more these days.Now they can't wait to make it official — surrounded by everyone they love most, in the city they call home!

Tux vs. Suit: What's the Difference?

We'd love to see everyone dressed up for the occasion — think cocktail attire or formal. That said, the most important thing is that you're there and comfortable. Wear something that makes you feel great, and we'll be happy. Keep in mind that early June in Chicago is typically warm with highs in the mid-70s to low 80s, so plan for a beautiful summer evening — and maybe toss a light layer in your bag just in case.

Getting Here &amp; Where to Stay Chicago has two major airports — O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) — both roughly equal distance from downtown. We personally prefer O'Hare, but Midway is a great option as well, especially for Southwest flyers. Our wedding will be held in downtown Chicago, so if you stay in the city, you won't need to travel far at all. There are also plenty of great Airbnbs in the area if that's more your style. If you'd prefer to stay outside the city, nearby suburbs like Oak Park, Evanston, and Naperville offer great accommodations and are just a short drive or train ride into downtown.

Why June 4th? We know everyone is asking why on a  Thursday?

June 4th is a date that holds deep meaning for us — it's the day we got engaged, Michelle's grandmother's birthday, and the anniversary of both Nick's grandparents' and his parents' wedding. With so much love already tied to this date, it felt like the only choice. When we realized it fell on a Thursday, we honestly saw it as a gift, not a hurdle. Here's the upside: midweek flights into Chicago are significantly more reasonable than weekend travel, so you'll likely save on airfare just by the nature of the day. And since you're already making the trip, you'll have the entire weekend ahead of you to explore one of the most beautiful cities in the country during its very best season. Chicago in June is absolutely stunning — warm nights along the river, rooftop patios with skyline views, world-class restaurants on every corner, and that electric big-city energy that makes this place so special. Whether you've been here before or it's your first time, there's no shortage of incredible things to see and do. We love this city with our whole hearts, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with the people we love most. Think of it less as a midweek wedding and more as the ultimate kickoff to a long summer weekend in one of the greatest cities in the world.
