Blake and Michelle's love story starts where all classic love stories begin...in a bar. The two met in April 2019 at a local piano bar, Keys on Main, in downtown Salt Lake City. Blake and Michelle were both at the bar with their group of friends for a night out. A mutual link between the two groups brought Michelle and her friends over to where Blake's group was sitting. The two eventually got to talking and Blake asked for Michelle's phone number before leaving. Blake sent a text to Michelle the next day asking to meet up again. Blake and Michelle had their first date a few days later at a local brewery for trivia night. Their first dates continued over the next week, and the two knew there was a spark there. A month after meeting, Michelle and Blake officially started dating.

Almost four years after meeting, Blake took Michelle to one of their favorite restaurants, BTG Wine Bar. This restaurant is where they celebrated their first Valentine's Day and has become one of their favorite and most special date night spots. It was here that Blake got down on one knee, and asked Michelle to spend the rest of her life with him, and of course she said yes!
