Steven and Michelle have known each other all our lives as our mothers have been friends since high school. They never really spent much time together until Steven's grandmother passed away in September 2018. Steven's mom is Michelle's godmother, so Michelle went to the wake to express condolences and Steven and Michelle started talking. By the end of the conversation, Steven asked Michelle out. That Saturday was their first date, which started with dinner but ended at the park, where they walked and talked. It was like they were made for each other yet Steven lived in Kansas City and Michelle in St. Louis. Three hours apart was tough, but they made it work. Steven came to St. Louis often and Michelle went to Kansas City a few times. Being Catholic and family values are the backbone of their relationship. Steven proposed to Michelle, on Michelle's birthday, December 16, 2018 at the park where they went on their first date. Steven has since moved back to St. Louis as they continue to prepare for married life.


We enjoy hanging with our families, game nights, and movies. We put our faith first when it comes to our relationship and our future. We ask for your prayers as we prepare for the next step in our relationship and enter into sacramental marriage.
