These are the people that have been there through it all! It is an honor to have these friends stand with us.

Bridespeople

Alex and Michelle are more than sisters, they are friends. Countless memories and shared experiences over nearly 30 years have led them to be incredibly important in each other's lives. From baking, cereal and pool parties at Grandma and Grandpa's house, to posing with the statues at Disney, and supporting each other through all adulthood brings, this bond is for a lifetime.

Alex Maddox

Tyler was E-Staff for Michelle's Mustang Band WOW Orientation group at Cal Poly, and they formed a fast friendship beginning with Tyler teaching her how to Line Dance. They soon discovered they had very similar personalities and quickly became the best of friends. Many years have passed and they still visit often and spend most evenings playing games together and chatting online!

Lauren and Michelle grew close starting when Lauren joined the Cal Poly Mustang Marching Band. Their friendship started mostly through mutual friends, but flourished with nights spent watching movies, eating good food, and having the occasional meet-up in Disneyland!

Lauren Becker

Benjamin and Michelle met in college when they were both in the Cal Poly Mustang Marching Band Flute Section. Through the years Ben and Michelle grew closer through rehearsals, game days, movie nights, line dancing, beach volleyball, and more!

Benjamin Hulbert

Richard was Michelle's Mustang Band WOW Orientation Leader, and quickly became one of her first friends in college. They bonded with beach days, learning to line dance, and 4am Denny's trips with Tyler, followed in later years by many sunny days spent in Disneyland, and having fun in the snow in Truckee!

Richard Cruz

Jazmin began dating Richard around the same time that Colby and Michelle started dating. They all spent many fun times together at Disneyland and in Truckee, making loads of fun memories. Michelle and Jazmin bonded over a love of the character Stitch and the joy of teasing Richard!

Jim and Colby met over the internet in 2014, the same year that the bride and groom first met and became friends! Jim and Colby went on to develop a close friendship while playing online games, and finally met in person in 2019. Shortly after, Colby and Michelle took Jim to Disneyland for the first time, then he moved to Truckee to work at the Grocery Outlet that Colby's parents own!

Logan and Colby went to the same school in kindergarten but only met once they were in middle school together.  They have been friends ever since, bonding over longboarding, video games and movies.  Logan also decided to make the move down to live in Truckee and work at the Grocery Outlet.

Logan Pederson

Steven and Colby met through Colby's brother,  Austin, but they were able to become very good friends after discovering mutual interests in movies, comics, shows and video games. Even though they live far apart, Colby and Michelle have been fortunate enough to be able to invite Steven to come stay at their house in Truckee and also visit Steven's home in Washington, growing the friendship between the three even more. Steven also happens to be the best dressed person that Colby knows.

Steven Scerbik

Owen is a fun addition to Colby's Motely Crew of People. Colby met Owen in 2016 and they became quick friends of mutual friends. Owen then lived with Colby for half a year in Washington in the hall closet of an apartment he shared with Austin while Colby was finishing his senior year of high school. Since then, it has been nothing but an up and up friendship for them, as the two enjoy a lot of the same interests and hobbies. Uncle Iroh often stays at Michelle and Colby's house because he is a top tier dog sitter.

Owen Hughes-Davies

Bert and Colby met in eighth grade. Just as with most of the other people on Colby's side, they had bonded with video games, common interests and mutual friends in middle school, then became closer when Colby lived in Washington during his senior year of high school. Later on, Bert also decided to move down to Truckee to work at the store! You can talk to Bert about many things, and you will either get a story or some deep information about what you asked.  He has a head full of knowledge about glass doors, cars and really hard video games.

Bert Lauridsen

Colby and his family moved to California in 2014. He met Karla in his sophomore year, and she was one of his only friends for most of that year. They have stayed close ever since, keeping in contact even four years after they lived close to each other. When Colby and Michelle are in the San Luis Obispo area, Karla is one of the friends Colby makes sure to see.
