If you’re traveling via NJ Transit, the Morris Plains Train Station is about a 15 min walk to our place (according to Google Maps, we usually walk it in 10 min). There will be sidewalks until you get into our neighborhood. It’ll be a slight incline to our house and a decline back to the train.

If you’re traveling by car, you should be able to find street parking in our neighborhood. If for whatever reason you’re unable to find street parking in our neighborhood, you could also park at Community Park in the gravel lot across the street from the pool. There is a fairly steep but paved path up to our neighborhood adjacent to the lot. It’s about a 5 min walk, but the steep hill will probably get you winded.
