Our Wedding

Initially, Michelle and I crossed paths without much interaction. We were acquaintances, exchanging polite hellos but not much more. Still, there was something there—an unspoken attraction I couldn’t quite put my finger on at the time. It wasn’t until some very persistent mutual friends at church kept nudging us to talk that we finally started having real conversations. The turning point came during a group trip to Las Vegas. Away from our daily routines and surrounded by the energy of the city, I found myself more drawn to her. Shared adventures and late-night conversations revealed a connection I couldn’t ignore. By the end of the trip, we exchanged numbers and started texting, which quickly led to more hangouts, late-night chats, and plenty of laughter. After our first official date, Michelle had to catch a flight back to Texas for a wedding. I offered to drive her to the airport, thinking it would be a simple drop-off. But somehow, I kept circling the terminal—four times, to be exact—because I just didn’t want to say goodbye. That was the moment I knew: I didn’t want this girl to leave my side. From there, everything just fell into place—one conversation, one experience at a time. Now, looking back, I’m grateful for every moment that has led us here. I can’t wait for this next chapter and am especially thankful for the friends (and their not-so-subtle hints) that brought us together. - David
