Our Story

Michelle and Thomas met in a not particularly conventional way, but definitely more modern than most. They met on the dating site called “Hinge” in mid-August 2019. At the time, she was moving from downtown Cleveland to Lakewood. She had unknowingly just signed a lease to move into a building he lived less than 1 block down from, just 1 day before they started to get to know each other. After some very nice conversations, Thomas asked Michelle out on their first date to “Tabletop”, a board game cafe in Ohio City. The date went so well that the two lost track of time, Tabletop was closing, and they were politely asked to leave. After that, they went on many more dates and Thomas asked Michelle to be his girlfriend shortly after. Unfortunately 7 months into the relationship, Covid hit and some plans of adventure had to be put on hold. But the two made the best of a bad situation together, and here we are! Michelle and Thomas got their dog, Sadie, in June of 2021. Sadie is the sweetest little cuddlebug of a dog you will ever meet. They are very happy and lucky to have her. The two have been through a lot in the last 3.5 years - new jobs, career changes, adopting a pet, moving, a pandemic, an engagement, and now a wedding!
