Our Wedding

Michelle and Matthew met on October 23, 2022, at Tin Roof in Kansas City's historic Westport. Although it’s often said that nothing good happens after midnight, that wasn’t the case for them. Matthew fell head over heels when he caught a glimpse of Michelle after the clock struck midnight. They started dating shortly after, on November 19, 2022. 	On April 4, 2023, their love deepened with the joyous news that they were expecting. God had blessed them with a wonderful surprise. On July 5, 2023, Heaven welcomed its newest angel, Jamie Maddock Nolan. Despite the great suffering, Michelle and Matthew found profound love and support. They celebrated Jamie’s short yet impactful life surrounded by their closest friends and family. 	Throughout life’s trials, their love has grown more steadfast and resilient. On March 16, 2024, Matthew asked his best friend and partner in crime for her hand in marriage. Michelle and Matthew eagerly anticipate saying "I do" on March 1, 2025, in the presence of their beloved family, friends, and the Lord. They are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support they have received throughout their relationship and look forward to a lifetime of love and happiness, excited to see what the future holds for their family.

General Wedding InformationWhat time does the ceremony start?The ceremony will begin sharply at 1:00pm, please arrive at least 30 minutes early to get settled.What’s the dress code?Semi-formal/ Cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing immodest attire as we will be getting married in the Catholic Church. We want you to feel comfortable and look your best!Is there a theme or color scheme for the wedding?Our wedding theme is elegant/ vintage glam, and our colors are black and white. 2. Venue DetailsWhere is the wedding taking place?The ceremony will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd St., Overland Park, KS, 66214. The reception will follow at Thompson Barn, 11184 Lackmann Rd., Lenexa, KS, 66219.Is there parking available?Yes, free parking and handicapped parking is available at both the Church and venue.Is the Church &amp; venue wheelchair accessible?Yes, the Church and Venue are fully accessible for guests with mobility needs.Are kids invited?We love children and are so excited to celebrate with you, but due to space limitations at our venue, we cannot accommodate everyone’s growing families. We kindly request a child-free ceremony and reception. Thank you for your understanding. 3. Wedding GiftsWhere are you registered?We are registered at Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn, but we also have a House Fund if you would like to contribute to our future home.
