It all started with a swipe, on a random Friday afternoon in March 2024. Brads profile caught Michelle's eye from the start; she decided to swipe right. Michelle immediately sent Brad a message asking how his day was going and that she thought his cat’s name Kirby was adorable. Brad selected the Machine Shed for their first date. During dinner Michelle could tell he was already someone very special, there was a spark she never felt before. After dinner Brad and Michelle decided to continue the date, and they headed to Deja vu martini lounge for a drink. After several hours their first date got interrupted by a text from Brads family group chat. They were telling him that there was a family emergency. Not long after our first date we knew that we meant for each other.

Then in July of 2025, Michelle and Brad decided to go on a day trip down to Paradise Springs Nature Trail. Brad saw this beautiful old stone building overlooking a natural spring and he knew that is where he wanted to propose. When they arrived at the building, there was a grandma and grandson collecting fresh spring water as Brad would say “in the most inefficient way possible”. They decided to leave and look around more before returning to the old stone building. Brad then got down on one knee, Michelle got very excited and before Brad could even ask those magic words “Will You Marry Me?” Michelle beat Brad to the punch and said, “Well are you going to ask if I want to marry you?” He then asked those magical words, and she just nodded her head yes and smiled. It wasn’t until the drive home that they both realized that Michelle never said “Yes”. Michelle finally said “Yes, I will marry you” and the rest is history!

At the end of 2025 Michelle and Brad decided to look at houses, figuring it would take a while to find their forever home. Surprisingly they found their house right away. Michelle and Brad will be closing on their house at the end of Jan 2026 in Fox Crossing, WI.
