General Questions
When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding will take place on September 20, 2025, at the CD Lane Park in Windham (Maplecrest), NY in the Catskill Mountain region. The address is 281 Big Hollow Road, Maplecrest, NY 12454. More details, including venue location and schedule, can be found on our Home page.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm, so please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.
Will there be restrooms at the outdoor venue?
Yes! There are restrooms attached to the CD Lane Park pavilion.
Is there cell phone service at the outdoor venue?
Cell phone service is very limited to nonexistent within this part of the Catskill Mountains. We recommend planning for this by downloading an offline map on Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Attire & Weather
What’s the dress code?
Our wedding vibe is casual, relaxed, a little playful, with a touch of romance. Think cocktail attire or semi-formal, but most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Everything will be outdoors. The ceremony will be under the sky (weather permitting!) and the reception will be held under a pavilion. Be sure to check the weather and bring a light jacket if needed!
What will the weather be like?
September in the Catskills is typically mild and comfortable, with daytime highs in the 60s-70s°F and cooler evenings. In rare cases, it may be warmer. Please remember to check the weather a few days before the wedding!
Travel & Accommodations
Where should I stay?
Unfortunately, we were not able to secure a room block. However, there are plenty of hotels, motels, inns, and private rentals in the area. Check out our Travel page for suggestions and links to local accommodations.
Please note that the Windham area is a tourist destination, especially during the fall. If possible, secure your accommodations early!
What’s the best way to get to Windham?
Windham is about 2-3 hours from NYC and 1.25 hours from Albany. The nearest major airport is Albany International Airport (ALB). A car is the best way to travel to and from the area.
Other Details
Can I bring a plus-one?
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Your invitation will be addressed to the specific guests invited, and the RSVP card will note how many seats have been reserved in your honor. For couples, both names will appear on the invitation, and two seats will be reserved. For single guests, if a plus one is included, the RSVP card will say that two seats are reserved; otherwise, it will note just one seat. Thanks for understanding—we wish we could celebrate with everyone!
Are kids invited?
Apart from Michelle and Shawn's nephews, our wedding is adults only, so book a sitter and get ready for a fun, kid-free evening!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We’d love for you to be present in the moment, so we’re having an unplugged ceremony—please keep phones and cameras away until after we say “I do.” But don’t worry, we’ll share plenty of photos later!
