The year was 2022, such a strange time as Covid-19 was still the primary topic of everyone, but the world was starting to return to normal. I (Michelle) had decided to adopt my dog, Hero. For a while, it was Hero and I living our best life, but little did we know that our world was about to change and for the better! One night, I got home from work and went to take Hero outside that's when this "strange" man stopped me in the hall and asked what felt like a million questions about my dog as Hero looked very similar to his friend's dog. Anyways the conversation ended, and we both parted our separate ways, thinking we'd probably never see each other again. However, fate had a different plan in mind as a few months later, we matched on Tinder, but didn't realize it was the individual whom we had a brief talk with in the hallway months earlier. Until we started talking more and discovered we lived in the same apartment complex and then the same building and then even the same floor and to even right across the hall! Then it clicked that hey, it was the "strange" man who asked a million questions about my dog. We began joking about how it was an elaborate plan to steal my dog as he was so intrigued by him and/or a plan to murder one another. But we decided to take a leap of faith together as I invited him for a walk with Hero, and the rest was history. We immediately were inseparable, dinner together every night, watching movies, going for walks, just hanging out every minute we could. Fast forward to many laughs and nicknames later for poor Hero; we moved in together in October 2022 to a rented townhome, next October 2023 we bought our first ever house together, which has been a roller coaster to say the least on top of planning a wedding for the next October 2024! I guess one could say October is our month and nothing could be more right with every year bringing a new adventure together! So here's to love and laughter and happily ever after! ❤️
