Once upon a time, fate wove a fateful encounter between Peyton and Michelle at the Richemont Technical Center. Though their paths crossed in the halls of horology, it took some time for their love to bloom.

Michelle, bold as a lion, took the first step and invited Peyton to a movie, and soon they discovered their shared love of anime. The film they saw, Weathering with You, set the stage for a love story that would weather the storm of the pandemic and blossom into something beautiful.

As the seasons changed, so did the nature of their relationship. In the fall of 2020, they took the plunge and moved in together, Michelle knowing in her heart that Peyton was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. In a leap of faith, she proposed to Peyton, with the help of her son, on August 5, 2022. Peyton then surprised her with a reverse proposal in Lubbock on November 27th, with her mother present, cementing their love for each other.

Together, they have embraced the challenges and joys of life, building a family that is more than the sum of its parts. They know that life isn't always 'perfect,' but they are committed to creating a home that is ‘special’ and filled with love. Through good times and bad, they will continue to weather the storms of life together, knowing that there is nothing more magical than finding someone who is willing to grow and learn with you.
