Saint George Street is the oldest street in the country. No cars are allowed on Saint George Street so it's the perfect place to go to get a feel for what St. Augustine is all about on foot. It's filled with cute little shops, restaurants, coffee shops and wine bars. You'll notice all of the Spanish architecture and instantly fall in love! You can spend an entire day just exploring all of what Saint George Street has to offer. Also, there is the Cathedral Basilica at one end of the street which is absolutely breathtaking.

Explore over 340 years of North American history at this national monument. The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. The cost is $10 to enter, but well worth it!

The Lightner Museum is home to one of the best collections of fine and decorative 19th century art in the country. The Museum is open to the public 7 days a week and features self-guided tours and tours by reservation. Even if you don't pay to enter, it's worth it to swing by and check out the property. It's absolutely beautiful and has a stunning courtyard. You can walk here from St. George Street.
The St. Augustine Light Station is an active lighthouse. The current lighthouse stands at the north end of Anastasia Island and was built in 1874.
