Our Wedding

Michelle and Tyler met in 2019 when they both moved to Portland. As random roommates in a 5 bedroom house, they didn’t spend a lot of time getting to know each other. Tyler shared stories about the rugby club including his favorite party trick… glass eating! Michelle offered Tyler some peperoncinis and garlic she was growing so they could connect about the food from their Italian culture. One day Michelle asked Tyler if he wanted to go snowboarding at Mt. Hood, but received no response…oh well!   Three years later they reconnected, this time with Tyler as the pursuer. On their first date, they went bar hopping. As Tyler walked Michelle home at the end of the night, he swooped her off her feet and carried her across the road. A few bartenders who had served them earlier in the night watch them giggle away and yelled “that’s the man you’re going to marry!”   And the rest is history :)

The Venue

We would love to see all the guests looking their best! We ask you to dress in cocktail attire, but please know the venue is a large garden, and we highly encourage you to walk around to view the gorgeous property. Please wear shoes that accommodate walking on grass. The venue is located around many wonderful cities to enjoy while you are here! 15 minutes south of the venue are Newberg and Sherwood, known for their vineyards, wineries (famous for pinot noir), farms, orchards, and small-town charm. 20 minutes east of the venue is Tigard, a more suburban neighborhood with lots of shopping, restaurants, and budget-friendly hotel accommodations. 20 minutes north of the venue is Hillsboro, a diverse city with tons of ethnic food, a charming historic downtown, and home to Intel. To ensure all guests have a safe ride home, let us know if your vehicle will be left overnight at the venue. Please contact the bride or groom for additional recommendations on where to stay or things to do in the area!
