Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is central to everything that we are, both figuratively and literally. Quite literally, we both grew up 3 hours from the campus, St. Louis to the west, and Dayton to the east.

Meeting each other was a bit of luck, considering the difference in grade, but luckily we both decided that doing competitive diving was a good idea. Having an activity that forced us together for 2 hours everyday probably had something to do with getting to know each other. As for our degrees, they couldn't be more different, really the only similarity was the fact that they're both for nerds, which makes sense if you've ever been to Rose-Hulman.

After 3 years of tests and studying, dive meets and dates, we got engaged on Rose-Hulman's campus, at the fountain where we would stargaze to blow off steam after an evening of work, and it was only fitting that we got married at the chapel on campus (in front of our immediate family members in the middle of a pandemic).

We moved out to Seattle following the wedding, and so far we've bought our first home, welcomed two poodles into our family and we'll soon be welcoming a little one in September! We can't wait to see what other adventures await us on the west coast, far from the cozy Rose-Hulman we both know and love.
