Michelle and Jeremy first met at Comic Con. Jeremy was working for a company who sold superhero tee shirts among other genre items as part of the Convention Team traveling all over the country attending different comic book conventions. Michelle volunteered at several conventions with the same company. At one of these conventions, Michelle and Jeremy first met.

At the Atlantic City Boardwalk Convention 2015, Michelle and Jeremy spent much of the convention chatting with each other and, after the convention, met up with a group for dinner and drinks. And that was that.

Michelle and Jeremy had been dating for over 3 years and living together for almost 2 years when Jeremy decided it was time. He got the ring and planned a trip to Jim Thorpe, PA in the Poconos for a romantic weekend away. On the first morning, he couldn't wait any longer and proposed in their hotel room.
