We highly recommend checking out the world famous Ocean City Boardwalk. Featuring shops, eateries, bars, amusements/arcades, night life and lodging, Ocean Citys Boardwalk blends history and culture with modern convenience and fun, all steps from the beach.
The Eastern Shore of Maryland is known for its crab cakes, boardwalk french fries, Orange Crushes (alcoholic drink), and Fishers Popcorn. All of these and more can be found throughout the 2.5 mile stretch of boardwalk. The Ocean City Boardwalk runs from South 2nd Street at the Ocean City Inlet up to 27th Street.
Some of our favorite spots:

Seacrets is an iconic spot in Ocean City – and on the East Coast. It's one of the top 7 highest-grossing bars in the United States. The waterfront bar and restaurant is a sprawling, 6-acre operation with 20-some bars, multiple stages, a restaurant, a night club, a distillery and a gift shop all on-site. Seacrets is decked out with palm trees and tropical decor; its slogan encourages visitors to "find us and get lost."
The venue is located on the bay, with barstool seating and tables available in the water. The majority of the space is covered by sand (something to keep in mind for shoe choice), with stool seating at several bars, and booths and tables available for those coming for a meal. Popular cocktails here include frozen piña coladas, orange crushes, a Pain in De ASS, and margaritas; beer, wine, shots, mixed drinks and nonalcoholic drinks are available as well.
Seacrets hosts live music acts on its beach stage and Tiki stage, and DJs in the nightclub, so if you're looking for somewhere to let loose for a good time, this is the place to be.
Known as the White Marlin Capital of the World. Ocean City offers various off-shore and in-shore fishing opportunities for anglers of all skill levels.
The fishing allows for the annual White Marlin Open held in August each year. It is the largest and richest fishing tournament in the world. First place prizes range between $5-10 million dollars. It often has teams lead by celebrities such as Michael Jordan, Wades Boggs and Emeril Lagasse.
Ocean City has some spectacular golf courses in the area. Highlighted by Lighthouse Sound, Glen Riddle, Rum Pointe, and Bear Trap Dunes, many of the courses have panoramic views of the Ocean and Intercostal.
Located on the south end of the Ocean City Inlet, is the Assateague Island National Seashore. This 37-mile long barrier island is famous for its beautiful beaches, WILD HORSES and abundant birds. Primitive camping on ocean and bay sides of island. Nature trails and seasonal nature programs.
