The story of Michelle and Zach began in 2010, when both began attending Burnaby Mountain Secondary School. Zach became friends with a lovely young girl, Monique, who had an adorable twin sister, Michelle. Michelle thought Zach was more or less strange, but occasionally funny, and thus a blooming friendship began.

As the High School years went by, Michelle and Zach became closer friends, often hanging out after school with friend groups. The pair became close enough that people even began spreading rumours that the pair were dating in secret (which was false). Zach would bug Michelle, playing along with the rumours, while Michelle continued to strongly deny them.

After graduation, Michelle and Zach both went to Post-Secondary, with Michelle starting at SFU and Zach going to Douglas. Eventually, Michelle toured in China as a circus performer and trained in Montreal, while Zach transferred to SFU to finish his degree. Throughout this time, Zach and Michelle would continue to meet each other and hangout whenever either was visiting their respective city, and would have group calls and play online games from time to time.

When Covid hit in 2020, Michelle's circus program was put on hold and she returned to Vancouver. At the same time, Zach was preparing for police training and working on improving physical fitness. Given Michelle's amazing fitness training from circus school/performing, she became Zach's primary training partner. Being close friends already, the two began spending more time together and grew even closer. Unbeknownst to the other, both gradually came to the mutual decision that the two made an extraordinary team together.

As restrictions relaxed, Michelle returned to Montreal to finish her training, but the two had grown a strong bond that continued to persevere despite the separation. Just before Zach left for Depot training with the RCMP, he and Michelle began dating. Michelle would send care packages in support, and they would call daily whenever they were free to watch movies, play games or simply chat.

When Zach finished and was posted to the West Shore on Vancouver Island, Michelle was in the process of finishing her degree at SFU, and the pair continued their long-distance relationship. They would take turns visiting the other, and would occasionally go weeks apart, but their relationship only grew stronger. It did not take long for either to realize they were a perfect match for the other and wanted to grow further as a family. At this point, the two adopted a very fluffy special needs kitty, Tide Pods, to compliment their senior kitty, Bleach.

In April of 2023, the pair solidified their relationship, with Michelle saying yes to Zach's proposal and the two were officially engaged. Shortly after, Michelle finished her degree at SFU and moved over to join Zach on Vancouver Island. The two have continued to live and love being with the other ever since, bringing us all to the next big moment in their adventure.
