It all started when a boy from Wisconsin was enjoying being a regular in his favorite bar, Brat House, and a beautiful Ecuadorian woman celebrating her birthday came walking into the bar. The old school classic Shakespeare love story as many would say. Luckily the boy is a big and dumb boy with no shame of embarrassing himself and was able to serenade the women far out of his league with the lovely melody of the Oak Ridge Boys, "Elvira." A small tribute to his late grandmother who used to love the band. The next day, the boy invited the women to his "palace" and used his other grandma's cooking and her secret recipes of home cooked chicken, mash potatoes, green beans and biscuits to win over her heart thru the stomach. Then after winning, as the boy would say, her heart with cooking and singing, she decided she didn't ever want to leave the "palace." Then yada-yada-yada, here we are today to celebrate the big day with all their friends and family gathered around to enjoy two different cultures from two sides of world becoming one!
