Fabian and I first met in very early 2022 as I took on a bartending gig at an old co-workers bar for a holiday event, where Fabian was a bouncer. We became quick friends and saw more of each other as I began bartending more frequently and he became bar back. I loved his enthusiasm about learning a new skill and taking on new responsibilities and spent a lot of time teaching him what I could and watching his passion for serving others and creating new and fun drinks blossom until he was a fellow bartender as well. Later that year in October, it became increasingly obvious that we had such a natural chemistry and it was so easy to be around him and talk to him and I looked forward to it every day we worked together. Fabian finally asked me out on a date where we could spend more time together talking, outside of work, and we have been inseparable since.
He helped me through some of my most difficult times healing from surgeries, gladly took on any crazy house projects I threw his way, and effortlessly fit in with my kids as if he’d always been a part of our family.
On May 2nd, 2024, at a Morgan Wallen concert in Nashville (our favorite!) he proposed to me during one of our favorite songs and it was such a beautiful moment. Luckily it was caught on video by many of the other concert goers around us and I’m so grateful for that memory!
Being with him has just always made sense and I look forward to all our future adventures, travels and projects, with him by my side as my very best friend.
