We were both ready, we both knew what we wanted and we took a chance and met online! It was a beautiful Friday afternoon October 20, 2017

Doug and Michelle met for the first time at the Broken Oar on the fox river in Illinois. It was a beautiful 70 degree day, Michelle was paddle boarding and Doug was Riding his Motorcycle, by coincidence they were both heading to the same destination!!! Their initial meeting was brief as Doug soon endured a complete “dude interview “ by one of Michelles buddies, who by the way had no idea she just met Doug for the first time!!! Apparently Michelle heard enough that was intriguing second hand to accept Dougs invitation to take her to dinner the next evening!

Michelle and Doug’s first official date was at Pisanos in Richmond Il, where they enjoyed an amazing 3 hour dinner. The date continued as they danced the night away to the music of Bella Cane. Friends joined and it was an incredibly special

evening.

Both Michelle and Doug remarked later how they both realized their first date was actually sweetest day🤗🥰 and the rest is history!

Now almost 6 years later they own their dream home together in Salem Wi, have 6 grandchildren, celebrating new businesses and balance in our lives!!! Blessed with family and friends across the country we can’t wait to be married and to be blessed for the rest of our lives together!!!
