It was a sunny day on September 1, 2008 as Michelle and Stephen started their sophomore year at Siena College. Michelle and her roommates were waiting for the elevator to bring a MicroFidge to their fifth-floor suite in Plassman Hall. (A MicroFidge is a two-door mini refrigerator/freezer with an attached microwave and weighs about 85 lbs.) That was when Stephen and his roommate offered to carry the fridge up the stairs.. after he already carried his.After a few weeks of hanging out, and before they started dating, Michelle said to her mom: I am going to marry Stephen one day; he is my best friend. During Stephen's hockey game on October 3, 2009, Stephen handed Michelle a puck with Will you be my girlfriend? written on it. From then on, the two became inseperable. After seven years of dating, on October 1, 2016, Stephen got down on one knee,and Michelle was happy to say her instincts to marry him were right. Only 28% of college graduates actually marry a person they went to college with; and on October 13, 2018, the college sweethearts will be married.

For my drivers - which is the majority of you...Saratoga Springs is approximately four hours from NYC. Most hotels offer onsite parking, some for a fee.Many shops and restaurants are within walking distance to the hotels. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are also available.

For my flyers, the best airport is Albany International Airport (ALB). This airport is about a 30 minute drive to the Saratoga Springs area. Check with your hotel about shuttle pickups!

The Goudey/Terrio wedding block has been reserved for $199 Saturday Night Only. Unfortunately, Friday night is already sold out. This hotel is recently renovated and walking distance to the Pavilion Grand, shops and restaurants. Don't wait to book!

Only stay at Marriott? Not a problem – we have a block there too! The Courtyard Marriott is still on the main strip and less than a mile to the Pavilion Grand Hotel.

The rate for a king or two queens on Friday, 10/12/2018 and Saturday, 10/13/2018 is $209 per night. Remember to mention you are with the Goudey/Terrio Wedding.

How should I get to the Ceremony?

The ceremony is at Siena College Chapel; approximately 30 minutes south of&nbsp;Saratoga.&nbsp;&nbsp;Transportation will not be provided to the&nbsp;Chapel.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;You will need to drive or get an Uber.&nbsp;&nbsp;Driving up Saturday?&nbsp;&nbsp;I recommend stopping at Siena on your way.&nbsp; And don't worry, there is plenty of parking.

Will I have time to check into my hotel between the Ceremony and Reception?

Yes.&nbsp; You will have time to check in and freshen up before the reception but remember to check the shuttle times!

Should I wear my Reception attire to the Ceremony?

You should have time for a quick outfit change so it's up to you.

What is the dress code for the Reception?

Our wedding is Black Tie Optional.&nbsp; Although we would like the wedding to be formal (dark suits / long dresses), no need to purchase a tux or expensive dress.&nbsp; Your presence to help celebrate this special day is enough.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I don't want to drive to the Reception.  How will I get there?

Shuttles will be provided to/from the hotels listed on the accommodations page.&nbsp; Approximate times will be provided when you check into your hotel.&nbsp;

If you are not staying at one of the hotels listed, let us know!&nbsp; We want everyone to get there safely and will try to arrange for the shuttle to make the&nbsp;stop.&nbsp;

I prefer to drive to the Reception.  Is there parking?

Yes.&nbsp; Although we strongly encourage our guests take the shuttle, there is a parking lot for those of you driving and&nbsp;not drinking.
