Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Please RSVP online via this wedding website in the RSVP section. We will be planning to send out an email with wedding details 1 month before the wedding.
Please RSVP as soon as possible, ideally before April 5, 2024.
Can I bring a Plus One?
Yes, the more the merrier! All single guest are able to bring a plus one if desired. Please make sure you submit their information on the RSVP so we can have appropriate headcount for finalizing wedding day plans.
Do I need a passport to travel to the Dominican Republic?
Yes, U.S. citizens must have a valid U.S. passport to enter and depart the Dominican Republic that must be valid for the period of stay in the Dominican Republic.
Will the wedding ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on the beach and dinner will take place inside the venue. The venue will be private for our event and does have indoor facilities if needed in case of inclement weather.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Yes, if you book your accommodations through our travel partner, it will include free transportation to & from the hotel from the airport.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Beach Casual!
Women should opt for a simple sundress, breezy maxi dress, or high-quality romper.
Nice, short-sleeved shirts, such as polos, are permitted for men, as well as nice shorts (think Chinos) with a belt. In general, stick with lighter colors and/or bold prints, and absolutely avoid denim, cargo, swim shorts, and cotton T-shirts.
What is the weather like in the area?
Daily high temperatures are around 88°F, rarely falling below 86°F or exceeding 90°F.
Daily low temperatures are around 78°F, rarely falling below 75°F or exceeding 80°F.
Note: August does fall within hurricane season. We will keep our fingers crossed this should not be an issue but there could certainly be rain so come prepared!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Yes! We welcome families to bring children for the trip, and they will be allowed at the wedding. We do however request that any young children return back to the hotel shortly after dinner concludes as we do not want to worry about safety hazards being on the beach in the evening. Please reach out to Michelle and/or Nick directly if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, of course! We will have free drinks provided for guests throughout the duration of the wedding day event.

How can I learn more about Dreams Royal Resort before I arrive?
We encourage guests to download the 'Hyatt Inclusive Collection' app. Once you do this, you can filter on Dreams Royal Beach Hotel. The app will allow you to view items like Hotel Information, Accommodations, Restaurants & Bars, Hotel Map, etc.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Yes, you certainly can however, we do recommend leaving all personal belongings at the hotel as we will have photographers and a photobooth on-site. We would like our guests to be fully present and immerse in the moment!
Where will wedding updates be posted?
Please refer to this wedding website for any general updates. If there is anything critical to share, we will send out text & email notifications as needed.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Please refer to our Registry tab on this wedding website. We are asking guests to either support our future honeymoon fund or provide cash that will help with home improvement projects.
If you wish to do something else, our home address is: 4705 Dunes Drive McKinney, TX 75050 for shipping purposes.
Please do not bring any physical gifts as it will be difficult to travel home with anything more than what we are already packing!

I am unable to attend, will you have any other celebrations locally in the U.S.?
We would love to have all guest be able to attend the wedding but completely understand that it is shorter notice than standard for weddings and that there are many factors to be able to attend. Right now, we do not plan to have any other domestic/local celebrations but hope that whenever we see you next, we can have a small celebratory cheers!
