The nearest airport is Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, which is 2 hours away from Negril.

Flights

Rockhouse recommends Kenny Tours for all ground transportation from Sangster International Airport. The rate per car is $120 for up to four people one-way ($30 per additional person).&nbsp; If organized through the hotel, for your convenience the $120 each way transfer charge will be added to your bill at the hotel.&nbsp; Your driver will ask if you want to stop anywhere for anything. They are serious and will do that. Recommend to coordinate with your group if you want to stop at the HiLo in Negril (its a grocery store) to pick up anything you might need. There is also an ATM near the HiLo if you are looking to pull out cash (there will be a line! And they might have to refill the cash!). USD is accepted everywhere, and the locals recommend to use because 'it's easier to think in your own currency.' Cards are accepted at almost all locations, but drivers are paid in cash and tips in cash are nice.

Perched on the cliffs of Negril, Rick's Cafe is famous for its stunning sunset views, live reggae music, and thrilling cliff diving. Its a party vibe. Go here for a drink or two or whatever. If you are looking for a meal, recommend booking a reservation at Ivan's after. It's a short walk. The short walk is partial along the road though.

Dress code, explained by Steffan

Resort Casual: This would be casual clothes one might wear at a resort. Google "white lotus outfits" if you haven't casually resorted before. Expect wind and heat and plan accordingly! Mostly heat. It is pretty hot. Swimwear: Think "Beach Chique" (a style that blends casual comfort with sophisticated elegance, inspired by the beach and coastal living). You don't have to get wet, but you want to look like you could at any time. Tropical Chique: This one feels really similar to resort casual to me, but I think we are going for little fancier version of your resort casual outfit. Island Formal: I've learned that this is a little more formal than cocktail attire and is also good for hot weather. Suits and dresses (or jumpsuits) that are colorful and formally fun.
