In 2009, Tony & Michelle were introduced to one another by their parents.

Tony specifically remembers wanting to walk across the room and talk to Michelle after they were introduced but was too nervous to do so. Once he felt more confident, she was already leaving the party and then shortly left to return to Canada.

For those of you who know Tony, he may be quiet, but he is persistent!
This was only the beginning of the story...

4 years after initially meeting...

Tony added Michelle to Facebook and would "like" and comment on her pictures and videos hoping she would respond to him.

After some time, he did not have much hope that things would happen.
Meanwhile, Michelle began to notice that "this person" was constantly commenting on her stuff but could not remember how she knew him.

It is because of Michelle's mom that she actually decided to message Tony. Just before doing so she had asked her mom if she knew Tony Escamilla and told her that they had met a few years ago. A bit reluctantly, Michelle contemplated this and finally decided to message Tony.

How embarrassing! She did not remember him at all...

Although it has been challenging, being with each other from a distance has made us appreciate each other so much more, learn to have strong communication, and to look forward to the future with much anticipation.
We thank God for the way He is shaping us to be the best versions of ourselves to glorify Him and serve others with kindness, forgiveness, and love.

The space between us has given us a unique bond that very few can truly understand - and for that, we are grateful.

These past few years have been marked by a lot of change and uncertainty. During this time, we decided to get married and start our lives together.

Having said this, the party is STILL ON!
We would like to celebrate this chapter of our lives together with our loved ones.
Something we have learned during the pandemic and uncertainty is to appreciate and value each day with one another. All our time apart is being gifted with so much time together. Truly, we are grateful.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: This is such a special day for us and so many of our family and friends.
We ask our guests to celebrate with us in a formal or semi-formal attire.

Q: Will this be an indoor or outdoor wedding?
A: Mostly outdoors. Bring your sunscreen and sun glasses.
We will be celebrating under the afternoon California sun.

Q: Are my children invited?
A: YES! This is a family affair! We look forward to celebrating with everyone.

Q: What are the bride and groom providing?
A: We are so excited for our destination wedding. Our hope is to create an unforgettable experience.
We will be providing:
- Thursday night dinner for guests
- Friday appetizers and dinner during our reception
