We first met online and shortly after at Wake Up Coffee November 29th 2017. It was love at first sip:) We talked until they closed the doors. Our first official date was postponed by the SEC Championship redemption game UGA vs Auburn. Even though Chris lived with roommates in Brantley county, and I lived by the Brunswick Hospital with my roomie, we dated for several months until we moved in together. Our first apartment together was just that... one bedroom studio apartment over a garage. Those were the good old days... in historic Brunswick with cheap rent and sharing 800 square feet. We made many friends and shared plenty of memories in old town. We opted for a bigger space and relocated to the suburbs on 341 about a year later. This is where we joined a local pool league and officially started our love of bourbon. We took several trips, one to Florida Keys and another to Kentucky for the Bourbon Trail. When we returned home we started wanting a home of our own and started house hunting. In late February of 2022, we opted to settle in downtown Darien where we have been experiencing plenty more firsts with homeownership. In early October on a river boat cruise in Darien, Chris asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! We celebrated the holidays as a soon to be married couple and are just waiting to say I Do in Spring. Thank you for reading our story:)
