All Michelle wanted to do moving to a new city was to make friends and she was very clear about her intentions with Lucas. From the start they instantly clicked as friends and were constantly sending silly photos to be funny which has since become a daily thing.

After realizing how awesome they were together, something in the Vegas air sprinkled into their hearts and a couple weeks later they spent their first day officially together hiking in Utah!

By the time Thanksgiving rolled around they were already becoming a single unit. Michelle sprouted the signature mustache while Lucas adopted the classic nose ring.

Not one for the holidays usually, Lucas found new meaning with each one that he spent with Michelle. They found joy in the little things and finding the hidden sights within Vegas like the Botanical Gardens.

Lucas and Michelle both love traveling and sharing experiences. They took their first long trip to Oahu to see old friends and make new ones along the way. Later that month they traveled to Utah to shred the gnar and take advantage of the fresh pow.

By February their love was too strong to just be dating. Lucas was set on asking Michelle to marry him. What he didn't expect was that an hour before he popped the question, Michelle (who Lucas is convinced is psychic) told him about a dream she in which he proposed. She just so happened to dream up the exact way that he was going to ask. As he sat there with a deer in the headlights look he thought about changing his strategy but he decided to go through with his plan and luckily she still said yes!

What may seem like quick to some could not have come soon enough for Lucas and Michelle. A month after becoming engaged they tied the knot (get it? the website is called the knot) on the first day of spring!

Michelle and Lucas have continued to explore Las Vegas and embrace each others quirky nature. Most of their adventures focus around finding new places to eat.

They continue to share first time experiences with each other and grow in their marriage. Including slamming Michelob Ultras and going to their first Golden Knights hockey game.
