How should I dress? Formal. Dress or suit (jacket & tie) and dress shoe.

What will the weather be like? April = pollen! Start your allergy medicine by early April. High of 60s-70s, low of 40-50s. Possible April showers!

Which hotel do you recommend? Alex and Michelle will be staying at the Embassy Suites listed under the "places to stay" tab. Anything near the Angus Barn is a good choice. The Umstead Hotel and Spa is a luxury Hotel nearby that we recommend as well.

Are the Airbnb options ok? Yes. Airbnb is very popular and is a great choice if you have a large party coming with you, or you would like to stay with family and friends. Feel free to send Michelle or Alex a text to confirm you found a place close to the venue or their home (757) 652-5102.

Do we need a rental car? We have plenty of Uber and Lyft options, and there is a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn.

How much would an Uber be to the venue from the hotel? This can vary, but expect between $5-$20.

Will this be a child-friendly wedding? Yes! But please note that there are multiple entrances/exits to the venue, and it is surrounded by dark waking paths and a small open body of water. We will not have anyone available to care for/pay attention to your children on Saturday.

Is there anywhere I could get my hair/nails done? Yes! Anywhere in Brier Creek Commons - I personally go to Salon Blu, and Blo for my hair, and the nail salons are all highly rated. If you want a luxury experience or spa day, I recommend looking at the Umstead Hotel and Spa.

What if I had a luggage catastrophe and need a formal outfit last minute? We have the South Hills and Crab Tree mall all within 15 minutes of the hotel, as well as TJ Max, Target, and other clothing stores in the shopping center just outside of the Embassy Suites/Hampton Inn. There is also a David's Bridal in South Hills.

Do you have a babysitter we can use? Unfortunately, everyone we would refer will be attending our wedding. Please feel free to call the hotel or any agency in Raleigh/Cary/Durham.

How far away is the airport from the hotel/venue? The airport is about 8 minutes away from the hotel, which is also 5 minutes away from the venue.

How far away is Michelle & Alex's house from the hotel? We are about 20 minutes away from the hotel and venue.

Where could I board my dog if we travel with them? We love Care First Animal Hospital, and Dog Diggity. Feel free to call for their pricing and hours.

If we come before Friday, will we be able to spend time with the Bride and Groom? Yes! Please let us know when you will be in town. Michelle & Alex will be at the Embassy Suites social area downstairs/outside starting at 5PM on Friday, April 22nd.

Is there anything fun happening after the wedding? Michelle & Alex will be downstairs at the Embassy Suites after the reception to spend more time with family and friends. They will also be back at their home (4609 Hunters Creek Lane, Raleigh, NC 27606) for brunch on Sunday starting at 11am.

Is there anything fun happening after Sunday? Michelle & Alex may take a trip to the beach to explore with family and friends. More details to follow!
