Q: What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

A: Between 2:30pm - 2:45pm. To ensure you're comfortably settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 3pm, we appreciate your punctuality.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Smart casual. While we're having a minimalist wedding with a touch of blue, we encourage you to wear whatever attire makes you feel comfortable and brings you joy.

Q: What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

A: For the cocktail hour, we have prepared an open bar with unlimited drinks alongside delicious canapés for you. Following this, the reception will offer a delightful three-course dinner to satisfy your appetite. You will have the opportunity to select your preferred food choice in advance through the RSVP form.

Q: Do you have a wedding gift list?

A: For us, the most cherished gift is having you join us to celebrate this special day, especially considering many of you are travelling to London for the occasion. We are incredibly grateful for your presence. However, for those who wish to honour us in the traditional Chinese manner, we would be honoured to receive a monetary contribution as a token of blessings. Red envelopes will be provided on the guestbook table at The Ivy. Your kind gesture will be deeply appreciated as we embark on this new chapter of our lives together.

Q: Where should I send a card/ a gift?

A: The Maid of Honor, Martha, who is the bride's sister, will graciously be accepting cards and gifts on the wedding day on our behalf.

Q: What can I do during the downtime between the ceremony and the evening reception?

A: The "Things to Do" tab will provide you with more ideas on where to explore during the 2-hour break. Don't rush, you're welcome to arrive at The Ivy anytime between 18:30 - 19:30 if you'd like more time to explore around London before the festivities commence.

Q: Do I need to buy an Oyster card for travelling in London?

A: No, it's not necessary. You can easily use Apple Pay on your phone or tap in & out with your Visa/Mastercard at underground and train stations, as well as when boarding buses within London zones. Your total fare for the day will be charged at midnight the following day. Typically, after 3 journeys within the same zone, you'll reach the daily cap, and further travel for the rest of the day will be free.

Q: How will you communicate any updated information before the wedding?

A: All significant updates will be communicated through this dedicated website. In the event of any essential changes before the wedding, we will reach out via email using the email address you provided through the RSVP form.
