Tyler will probably tell you our story began in a high school chemistry class, but Mideya wouldn't have figured it out yet. In reality, it took us attending college on opposite sides of the state and a single Facebook message to really get the ball rolling.

Tyler: 'hey girl'

Me: 'hey...'

Is apparently all it took, because here we are 11 years later inviting all our loved ones to our wedding day (finally).

182 miles and a heated in-state rivalry separate Miami University and Ohio University, but that never stopped Tyler from making the trip from OU to Miami every few weekends. Even though he'll tell you he hated every second of being in Redhawk territory, both schools hold a very special place in our hearts and relationship. Our love language is taking jabs at each other's alma mater during every football and basketball game day.

Not long after college graduation, a job opportunity brought us to Columbus. 7 years and two dogs later, we've made the Columbus area our new home.
