Our journey began as many 21st century relationships do. Through Hinge, an online dating app. We had both tried the whole online dating thing before, never really finding that spark or connection. This time though, things were different. We quickly became enamored with one another, spending countless hours in constant communication. This led to us going on our first date to watch "The Eternals" together. Chase was smitten the moment he laid eyes on Mignote. She wore her blue jean overalls and her hair in a neatly kept bun. As we got into watching the movie, we quickly realized how boring this movie was going to be. Mignote ended up taking a short nap during the movie as she had just worked a long shift. After the movie we discussed our disappointment, while also expressing how we wanted to spend more time together in a setting where we could actually talk and connect. Several days after this, we met at Wabi house, one of Chase's favorite restaurants in Dallas. After a nice enjoyable dinner, we walked to Botilino for a refreshing dessert, and then to Truck yard where we shared six hours of amazing conversation. If was after this, when it became Mignote's turn to plan a date. We met in downtown Dallas to enjoy the nice Fall weather while watching a special outdoor showing of the movie Elf. It was here where we first held hands and "almost" shared our first kiss. It quickly became clear that we had strong feelings for each other. So like reasonable people, we made things official on December 19th, 2021.
