A funny tale to tell... Sometimes the person you are meant to spend the rest of your life with has a similar journey of their own. Miguel and Ryan met in the downtown Savannah night life that the locals know all too well. They were brought together by a mutual party, and at first were told to not be friend or like one another. However, as time goes on and in most tales something will always draw two people to be together. Ryan recently coming out found himself a friend group, which Miguel happened to be apart of. Miguel, living his best single life in Savannah never thinking he would love again, Ryan recently coming out as gay and a terrible break up (we all have at least one). The two were out with friends one night at the local bar "Barrel House" where one too many drinks were had amongst friends. As the night went on Miguel and Ryan realized as they turned around they were the only ones left at the bar. Ryan being the gentleman that he is offered Miguel a ride home as he lived on south side and all of their friends had left that evening. The two grabbed to go drinks (it is Savannah !!!), and started to walk back to Ryan's car. The two exchanged conversation of life stories, and past experiences on the walk to the car, and the drive to Miguel's house. When the two arrived at Miguel's house a moment passed, were the conversations ended and the two gazed into each others eyes. And in that moment like all great love stories the two shared their first kiss. Miguel being the gentleman that he is invited Ryan to spend the night so he would not have to drive back downtown. Ryan accepted Miguel's invitation not knowing it would have turned into the epic love story we all see today !!!

Savannah's Candy Kitchen - curve your sweet tooth and stop by and sample a homemade praline, or anyone of their decadent treats and sweets. Pour Larry's Bar - Basement bar arcade with vintage games, beer and cocktails. Vinnie Van Go Go's - Grab a slice and a beer and walk around downtown. Wet Willies - An adult Slush Puppie Bar. Janice Whelan's favorite bar to stop and grab a drink at when visiting Miguel and Ryan Wexford Irish Pub - The new Irish Pub with authentic cuisine dishes, beer and of course whiskey.

Savannah City Market 

Welcome to Savannah, one of the most Historic and Haunted cities in the USA. Book either a trolley tour or a walking tour and enjoy a beverage as you walk and are told the haunted stories of Savannah.

A local bar of choice that Miguel and Ryan like to pop into and have a few drinks with friends.

A local bar of choice that Miguel and Ryan like to pop into and have a few drinks with friends. If you're out late don't worry, social club cheese burgers and hot dogs are the best way to end the night.

Congress Street Social Club

An amazing dessert bar with delicious martinis and sweet treats if you're wanting something sweet.

Lulu's Chocolate Bar

A new local favorite restaurant for Miguel and Ryan. Enjoy delicious cocktails, and amazing food. The grooms recommend the crispy brussels sprouts and smoked beef Tartare. Recommend making reservation ahead of time.

Repeal 33 Bar & Restaurant 

If your looking for a delicious coffee pick me up with a sweet or savory breakfast treat this is your spot. Miguel and Ryan both like the Iced Horchata Coffee.

The Coffee Fox

A go to date night restaurant for Miguel and Ryan. They recommend the margaritas and queso dip.

Tequila's Town Mexican Restaurant 

One of Ryan's favorite restaurants in Savannah! American and British comfort food, Ryan recommends if you want something light the half sandwich (roast beef) and soup (French onion) and a pint of Guinness.

Six Pence Pub

A go to Brunch or Lunch spot for the Groom's. Whether you are exploring the downtown or walking to Forsyth Park, they recommend trying their coffees, bloody Mary's and breakfast items.

The Collins Quarter

Great spot for morning coffee and breakfast, and just a few blocks away from the Georgia State Railroad Museum.

Savannah Coffee Roasters

Good quality burgers and food. Another go to spot for Miguel and Ryan for date night.

A local restaurant chain with a twist on the food. Fun and Friendly atmosphere, delicious food and beverages.

Electric Moon Skytop Lounge - An adult playground overlooking the river with fun cocktails, small plates, lawn games and a slide. For all you out of towners and returning visitors that may want to rent a car to explore a little more of Savannah, or go walk the beach.A 25 min drive from Downtown Savannah A few favorites of Miguel and Ryan's places to visit on Tybee are... The Breakfast Club - If you want to spend the full day on the beach, get up early and get a southern breakfast 5 minutes from the beach front. A-J's Dockside - Enjoy great seafood and cocktails while taking in the sunset views and the back river. Huc-a-poo's Bites and Booze - If you decide to take an adventure to Tybee, on your return back to downtown we recommend stopping, grabbing a homemade slice and a beer.
