Richmond (RIC) is the nearest airport - a 30 minute drive to the hotel - but you may have more flight options, with fewer connections and/or cheaper prices if you fly into one of the DC airports (DCA or IAD). These are both a 2-2.5 hour drive depending on traffic.

If you fly into Richmond, you could likely get away without renting a car. You should be able to get a Lyft/Uber to the hotel and we will provide a shuttle to and from the wedding venue. However, if you fly into DCA/IAD, you will almost certainly need a rental car to get down to Richmond.

You may drive yourself to the venue if you so choose, and there is parking onsite. But if you are staying at/near the hotel with the room block (Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa - Short Pump) we highly recommend taking the shuttle. If you drive to the venue but need to take the shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the night, vehicles may be kept onsite overnight - but MUST be retrieved no later than 10AM the following day.

The shuttle will leave from the Hilton Short Pump at 4:15PM and arrive at the venue around 4:45PM, allowing guests time to explore the grounds a bit and enjoy live pre-ceremony music before the ceremony starts promptly at 5:30PM. The shuttle back to the hotel will leave when the reception concludes at 11:00PM.
